From what I've read, any Juno contact, whether hard or soft is beneficial, but I'm wondering if I should judge the hard and soft aspects accordingly and not view all contacts as beneficial on their own.

Does anyone have more knowledge about Juno?

Beneficial to what end? To create marital tension? As long as there's the chance of marriage it's good? I don't think so.. although all Juno aspects *could* increase the liklihood of thinking about committed partnership and increase energy in that direction...

Hard aspects to Juno indicate the necessity of re-working, re-calibrating, constantly evaluating and stressing those points within the relationship which are contacted.

My Virgo Juno in the 10th might square a person's Gemini Sun in my 8th house, or oppose their Pisces Venus in my 4th, let's say, just for fun. I would be looking for somebody practical, helpful in the day to day, health conscious, animal lover who helps me look good. Well, a Gemini or Pisces placement in a partner might irritate my relationship sensibilities, appearing to be totally ungrounded and flighty (even if they're not). The Gemini I might constantly suspect of infidelity and become very controlling and nitpicky as a condition of being together . This quality will be mitigated by easy aspects to Juno in my natal chart; I may be more forgiving as a partner, or I may not. With a 10th house natal Juno in Virgo chances are I'm not (I'm not). This Gemini Sun would probably like my attention to detail and essece of servitude in relationship-Gemini loves having someone around to do the chores--but end up getting awfully bored by my insistence on it, and maybe a bit mouthy.. I as Juno would be constantly wanting them to be doing the daily stuff right all the time... they would be preoccupied with their Gemini world of thoughts and concepts, bringing to bear in my 8th in a very disturbing way, as far as committed partnership is concerned. There might be factors soothing this. It's all context. My chart might just beg for Gemini and right there, right on that degree, and so my Juno self might just be pleasantly exasperated but overall still loving every minute of it.. you know?

So I could see why hard Juno aspects would be said to be universally beneficial but the hard Juno aspects can increase the liklihood of jealousy, intrigues, possessiveness, and tendencies toward marital infidelity and strife. It's possible they indicate a basic incompatibility which is actually quite profound. The flowing aspects seem more like the queen of heaven is on her throne and all is well.
