Hi Todd,

I read a topic yesterday where you mentioned some of the aspects to notice in a composite chart, and I'm interested in something you said about Lilith and the Vertex.

In the composite chart I am referencing, the NN sits on the IC. The vertex is conjunct the descendant, and Lilith is close to the ascendant in the 12th house. Both are square to the composite NN.

You mentioned something about how these squares would be different from the venus/moon, venus/sun, etc. squares in the composite. Can you enlighten me further about these types of squares involving the vertex, Lilith and NN? I've already learned so much from your interpretations and would appreciate learning more about this.

Many thanks.

hi llewsacm

the nodal axis conjunct the midheaven/nadir axis gives the relationship a social influence or affect.it tends strength the relationship as it cangive a sense of union of the individuals but hard aspects can reverse this and show great tension between the personalities. this position can give astral/dream interaction as the ego structures unconsciously move along the psychic plane psychic.

the vertex/descendant like wise brings a sense of psychic/karmic connection which can manifest a strong intuitional or psychic feeling. but as a pure vertex conjunction brings undifferentiated or "raw" cosmic energy into the mix, this conjunction can be confusing as to why the partners should feel such a tension(for good or bad) with in themselves.with lilth the sensitivity is increased but also the uncertainty can be increased because these feelings and energy bubble up with the psyche/soul. positively this gives a feeling of completeness but negatively the can be hesitancy and foreboding. again these dynamics are pure energy and therefore the aspects of the other symbols are extremely important as to the nature of the feelings experienced.

with these being square to each other you can have a curious situation. as all these symbols are extremely destincial and karmic, you can on the one hand have a relarinship strengthen by the common karmic experiences/strength but on the other hand, if the individual "Paths" are not in the same vein or direction, then you can end up with a intimate relationship that is at cross ends with each other in spite of the earthy union. this can lead to a life of inner disattachment to the partner in the relationship. on the outside it may seem to be all fun and games but inside resentments can build up for a life time.
I have really gone too far into the philosophical so there may be simpler ways to interpret these aspets.

I'm appreciative of the detailed response. I think I understand. There is intense karmic energy coming from all angles, and a need to determine if both people have similar life goals in order for the relationship to move towards a more positive existence - long term. I suppose it can be quite confusing at times, dependent on specific transits and such. I can most certainly related to the fun and games part in public...however there is a very deep, sensual and nurturing side to the relationship.

It may be worthwhile to note that a Sun/Jupiter/Mercury stellium forms a trine to the NN/IC. Sun and Jupiter in 7th and Mercury in 8th. Perhaps this would inject some of the positive support needed when handling the Vertex/Lilith on opposing angles?

Juno is also conjunct the NN. I neglected to mention that the first time around.

Love getting your feedback and learning on a deeper level what these aspects may represent.

oh yea sun/Jupiter/mercury trine the nn/mc/ic is really good. with juno conjunct the node, there is a strong commitment vibration and marriage is not out of the question.

Thank you todd. This is the most intense relationship I have experienced, so seeing it on a grander level is helping me to understand the purpose. Your words resonate very clearly...i appreciate the guidance.
