How would you describe the love interaction between Venus in Taurus and Venus in Libra? My S/o and I have these placements (me being Taurus) I know Venus in Taurus is really the more "practical" side of Venus and Venus in Libra is the more airy superficial side (in my opinion) of Venus. Doesn't these placements want the same thing, lasting love and harmony in relationships? What makes it even more interesting is he's a Virgo and I'm a Gemini. Does this have any significance? I think so myself. Any one want to add any input on this interaction? Btw my Venus is in my 1H his Venus is in the 8H? I've been trying to interpret this myself but have been having a little trouble. I'm Venus libra, he's Venus Taurus and we're pretty smitten right now... preetty deep in the mutual appreciation right now. Of course, lots of factors matter, how Venus is aspected and such... But on the face of it? I looove this combo. IP: Logged |

An 8H Venus in Libra you'll find far from superficial. This is dealing with issues of partnering as it relates to the most intense urge to merging and uniting on primal visceral levels. And Libra itself is actually a pretty tough cookie, dealing with the nitty gritty of human interaction more or less unflinchingly. Taurus is strong and deep and Libra will go to the highest strata of the atmosphere for love. There is nothing superficial about air signs, really. This is a meeting of heaven and earth in terms of Venus signs.Your Venus in the 1st house in Taurus would be concerned with appearances, and his Venus in the 8th inLibra will be concerned with appearances too, but like, the aesthetics and visual/tactile facets of extremely potent in depth relationship in his case. Silk sheets, you know? He will be feeling the meaning of all of this out on a subtle and penetrating level. You will simply be embodying Venusian-ness, oozing tactile pleasure with a 1st house Venus Taurus. It is not a bad mix; I wouldn't go calling him superficial though if I were you! IP: Logged |

What a coincidence, I've had that aspect with someone. I've been the Virgo with a Libra Venus and he was the Gemini with a Taurus Venus. There is adoration and a need for nurturing the other. But in our case, our Venuses were not aspected and the lack of actual affinity was also evident. IP: Logged |

Interesting!!! you're right about the subtle thing with him. And I'll try my best to stray away from calling him superficial he seems just so secrective and reserved when it comes to our emotional bond so I just thought it was the air in Venus being "superfical, flightly" Sadly our Venus' don't make an aspect to one another but we do have venus(me) sextile saturn(him) venus (him) square neptune (me) & venus (him) square uranus (me) as well as Venus sextile mars dw. My Moon sign is Libra and his was Virgo. Yes, we had Venus conjunct Pluto and trine Neptune, and it was kind of an obsessive love, yet very tender. When we were together our attraction for each other was evident, we couldn't help it. I did our composite and we had a grand trine between Venus, Mars and Saturn. Well what I meant is.. Sorry if I put you off with this but I'm just telling my story. I'm confused as to say what we had, I think it was mainly lust, but we shared some deep bond and I told him personal things I had never told anyone else (he did too). I do like intense relationships, but I think there was too much drama here for my taste. I became burned out because our conversations could never reach any point without us getting resentful or angered, as our core beliefs were diametrical opposite. I got hurt or jealous because I wouldn't understand his motives and I would hurt even more when he would think that was silly (at that very moment I wanted to shoot daggers at him), so no trust. I realised that I was simply putting up with him, and there was no need to do that. There was nothing more to be obtained from that relationship. IP: Logged |

I think 2 signs owned by one planet have similarities even though the elements are different. Somehow, I see Aries people getting along or attracted with Scorps, Sags with Pisces, Virgos with Geminis. Of course, it all depends upon many other factors. But I think Venus in Taurus and Venus in Libra should feel some connection in itself. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |
