In a perfect world I'd want: 1. My Moon conjunct a man's Sun 2. My Jupiter to conjunct a man's Venus 3. My Venus sextile a man's Mars**Adding more** 4. Do any of you want your Asc/Sun/Venus/Vertex/NN to conjunct a partner's Pluto? They're obsessed with you, which is great if you are just as in love... I know this aspect sounds a little stalkerish ha, but I would want someone I love to be really attracted and drawn to me and feel a deep bond that's hard to break. 5. His Vertex conjunct my NN (I have read that this aspect is the most common one in married couples, but only when it's a MAN'S Vertex conjunct a woman's North Node, not the other way around) 6. My Moon sextile his Sun (another aspect that I read was common in couples) Some of these aspects may surprise you! Magi astrology says Chiron-Sun linkages are important, but apparently when a man's Chiron conjuncts a woman's Sun it's not a common marriage aspect. The opposite with her Chiron conjunct his Sun is a little more common, but still not that common and still occurred seldomly in marriage. http://www.astroinvestigators.com/marrsyn.htm

Tough choice! I have many favorites. (1) Venus conjunct Sun, especially his Sun because I love Aquarius (my Venus/MC) and also it'll be my Eros conjunct his Sun, because I have Eros conjunct Venus. (2) Sun sextile/trine Saturn or Venus sextile/trine Saturn. (3) Like you: Venus conjunct Jupiter. Lovely, fun. His Jupiter or my Jupiter, it doesn't matter . Oh! I have a lot more, like Sun conjunct Moon or Sun opposite Moon (attraction). I love Moon conjunct Venus, beautiful ♥. And more, more, more. I was thinking about this along time ago, "favourite aspects in Synastry". I will write more in somewhere hehe . Sorry if I misspelled.

I just like to see peoples inner planets being engaged by the other persons in some way, period. Even by midpoint activation or declination. Especially moon and venus which to me means you mean something to them, and mars, which mean they're actually physically attracted to you.Im not bound to the idea of Jupiter aspects being necessary; most people born in a certain time period have Jupiter in the same sign anyway so to me it doesn't really say much. It seems to me anyway that as long as the people mean something to each other and are attracted to each other, a sense of joy would be an automatic, natural byproduct whether Jupiter is busy in the synastry or not. Here's mine:1. Mercury conjunct or trine Mercury, because I feel like I can trust them and we can talk for hours on end. 2. Sun trine or sextile Sun, because when this aspect is close it's mutually supportive and there's always a fun friendship going on. 3. Planets in Scorpio sextile my Capricorn placements - because these people have been the most reliable, understanding and trustworthy! IP: Logged |

Ooo only 3? Dang, okay:1. A man's Leo Venus conjunct my ASC. I just don't get tired of the pure, unadulterated affection and appreciation this brings. Oh, and I always feel super beautiful around them because YOU try telling a Leo Venus they can't voice their opinion about what they like lol 2. Scorpio Mars trine my Sun. I would say just Mars trine Sun, but I think the Scorpio part is important bc it puts their Mars in aspect to my Moon (opposition), my Merc (trine), and my Mars/Uranus (semisextile). 3.Moon trine Moon. I don't care for the conjunction. I have nMoon quincunx that same Mars/Uranus conjunction of mine so I do need my space and when my Moon is conjunct someone else's they have a really hard time keeping that separation, but the trine is bliss. Virgo or Cappy, no preference on this one because they both have their benefits. A Cappy Moon would be conjunct my Eros *purr* and the Virgo Moon would be opposite my Sun. But that Virgo would put my Mars/Uranus at the apex of a tsquare.. So i guess I'd go with Cappy Moon IP: Logged |

Yeah, Venus conjunct Asc is nice. Or Mars conjunct Asc, he (Mars) will always be attracted to you. That's been tested. But I once had a friend, my Venus was on her Asc and she was jealous, that's how much she liked me. I could never understand where was this jealousy coming from until I looked at our synastry. I think think one must know his/her own chart in order to identify hotspots. For me:(1) A masculine planet (Mars/sun) on my IC forms a grand trine with my moon and Venus (5th HR). Even better if the person has an opposition over this axis. With a cap moon, 5th house Saturn, Pisces MC and 7th house Neptune, I understandably have a thing for planets that fall into my 10th house. (2) His moon conjunct my sun. It would also conjunct my ASC and trine my 8th HR. (3) Angles conjunct my nodes, mostly my NN his MC. Applying conjunctions will also conjunct my moon.

Why jupiter-venus is important? I have that with 3 men I know who were a bit important in my life, but I don't fully get the importance.

You have a great combo,wow!
His saturn,my venus.
I dont know how to explain but we had something very special. He was never controlling or critical or anything like that.We were friends first and we supported one another a lot. -We have moon in air signs and sun trine sun. -My saturn square his sun and mercury. I have that (saturn/venus) with my mom as well. She supports me a lot. I had moon-saturn DW with my last boyfriend and it was pretty difficult.COLD VIBE!! BUT i have to mention that we also have 4 saturn squares in composite.hehe IP: Logged |

When I saw this thread, my first thought was: sun trine sun, moon trine moon, Mercury trine Mercury. Nuts to all the so-called "growth oriented" squares. I'm old enough, I don't need to grow anymore, I need the emotional equivalent of a hot water bottle on my sore old nerves. After searching astrotheme for men who meet these criteria, I only found one: David Gahan, lead singer of Depeche Mode. I'm a Cap sun, Pisces moon, Aqua Mercury. He's a Taurus sun, Cancer moon, Gemini Mercury. And it's true he's a little out of my league , but it helps explain why I've been telling people, the best concert I ever went to was a Depeche Mode concert. Policy of Truth IP: Logged |

It brings a lot of joy, happiness, laugh, positivism, generosity... It helps a lot when there are very "bad" aspects but of course this is not magic or anything like that. It's not extremely important but It's a really cool aspect. One of my favourites. "You enjoy each other's company immensely and you put each other in a happy mood. You make each other laugh and you feel very open, loose, and jovial around each other. You will also include others in your lives, expand your circle of friends, and allow one another a good deal of freedom, rather than being exclusive or possessive about one another. There is a great deal of generosity between you, and you may benefit one another financially and materially as well as emotionally. A wonderful friendship!" IP: Logged |

It just adds a natural affinity and ability to have fun together. You don't have to feel like you're forcing affection, fun or good feelings. It's a good solid aspect that can build the foundation of a great romance because you two will always have fun together and feel great in each other's company. No awkwardness or contrived feelings. I had this exact conjunction with an ex and I remember we enjoyed the same pleasures and were sympathetic, generous and optimistic about things together. We also enjoyed shopping together, but what can you expect when two benevolent and "gaudy" planets team up haha?! My Taurus sun and his Libra sun didn't mind indulging our Venus ruler every so often at the mall lol. IP: Logged |

Yeah it isn't a soulmate or "cinderella linkage", but it can help balance out some bad aspects which all couples have amongst each other, even if they aren't awful. I like it because I don't have to force anything, good feelings come naturally. I've had this with many close friends and one ex and I remember I always looked forward to a good, stress-free time with them more than other people. IP: Logged |
