Upon inspecting the synastry aspects of a soulmate and I...
I have discovered that our synastry mirrors my own natal aspects to a degree that is just beyond crazy!

In both my natal and our synastry chart there is;
sun trine uranus
sun trine neptune
venus square uranus
moon trine saturn
mars square sun
jupiter oppose saturn
neptune sextile pluto
uranus conjunct neptune
mercury sextile uranus
mercury sextile neptune

and probably more that I am forgetting....

What does this mean? What is your experience with such a thing?

Oh, wait. Synastry not composite? That's different.

Are you born within a few months of each other? If you both have, say, MERC sextile NEP, either your MERC is conjunct or sextile.

But, most often, the outer planet aspects will be the same, as the ages are close in proximity.

Yeah we were born about 6 months apart, he does remind me a lot of myself though. Similar life circumstances, family dynamics... just lots of similarities! I have checked a lot of synastry charts with people around my age and none have had this pattern to such an extreme!

Do you think this relationship is like a perfect playground to play out these certain aspects of myself?

It feels like being in a relationship that pulls out energies that I naturally have would feel very comfortable?

I too have this and we are two years apart. In fact, many of my natal aspects (within 4 degrees) are reflected in our synastry. I thought this was rather strange. In contrast, he has fewer natal aspects reflected in synastry. So, it isn't to do mainly with outer planets.

I wonder if this means that I have more to learn about myself from this relationship than him.

Now that Auby has pointed out that proximity in age and outer planets will result in similar aspects, I'll need to look at this again.
