Both of their Suns are largely unaspected save for the wide Sun-Venus conjunctions. Interesting situation, totally descriptive I think of an arranged affair through which the parties begin to appreciate each other more and more, indeed... IP: Logged |

Whoa! She was born 2 or 3 days after me. What a trip. Can't say I've been thinking about marriage much these days. I don't know if I would personally go for a guy with those placements.. (although maybe this is hypocritical because I do have a crush on an Aries Sun/Gem Venus right now) but their composite looks very beautiful if ya ask me. Though I agree with others that synastry is more important in the grand scheme of things. IP: Logged |

It is confusing how their respective chart rulers are largely unaspected. It's kind of anomalous, again, totally descriptive of a situation which was arranged by a third party somehow. The one has natal Juno-Pluto and the other Vertex-Pluto. The composite then, with Pluto opposing that intense stellium, is reflective of some of their deepest wants and needs and this relationship is likely to have them both on their knees at some point, wanting it so badly and obsessively going over everything about it. Emotions will end up running very high. Is all she told you that she really likes him? It is probably an understated code as it's likely that at some point it's all going to feel like a life or death scenario. Maybe I'm being kind of extreme here but that's how I see it. An unaspected moon can have people doing some crazy, crazy things to get heard/feel seen and understood. It can be beautiful but also rough and I feel the potential for each of their individualities to get put aside in the interest of this union.

It's interesting too the configuration of the composite given the arrangement having been made by the mother. All those 10th house planets. MAster crafted by a mother. I don't like Saturn Mercury squares as a general rule and without a more positive synastry and series of connections and geometries I would be wary of giving this one a full on green light but I haven't looked deeply enough into the natals to know where they're at karmically. I just know Saturn Mercury squares challenge our judgement to the point where we are forced to acknowledge everybody's right to be themselves and be different or else flounder in crazy-making arguments and comparisons and belittlements. Thus aspect demands that we accept one another as weare and respect one another very thoroughly before we enter into any attempt to change one another or convince one another. It will only work if it's really coming from a place of love and non judgment which is very tricky to do.. IP: Logged |

With the Saturn-Juno and Saturn-North Node conjunctions there's definitely stuff to be learned here. They're going to re structure one another's lives in some extreme ways and everyone is going to know all about it (like us! ... what a nutso composite. IP: Logged |

Mercury-Venus might go a long way to smoothing things out but it won't go all the way.. it means they do really appreciate one another and the flow of communication is excellent. There's a strong rapport which will make way for the more insidious challenges which are nevertheless probably exactly what they each need to learn and grow and face the lessons and experiences life has to offer. It's hard to say without house overlays in the other direction, but it's clear from the 8th house action that merging and marriage is very much on the agenda with this one. It's like they wouldn't consider any other kind ofrelationship. It's tough though, not being friends before thinking of marriage. I can see it all there though and iit's not like there isn't love and passion. There is a good deal. Their egos and emotions will be subsumed by the experience of the relationship; they will both be powerfully affected with their somewhat umaspected luminaries running amok.

Then again that Sun is on the MC and there ARE loose Venus conjunctions which is a very powerful aspect and likely more in operation given the double whammy. Sorry if anything I've said has sounded too fatalistic. Honestly i wouldn't have said this directly to the parties involved.. would have worded it differently.. so please take that into consideration and know I wish them the very best; there is a lot to be grateful for! Oh hold up. The Sun of the inside person is on the Sun/Moon midpoint of the outside and there is a Sun-Ascendant trine. Which is fantastic. Well. Disregard at least half of what I said. Apologies still not fully myself... or the self that i am is wonderfully fallible! That's closer to the truth. I am muddlingIP: Logged |

Yungang thanks for coming back with your analysis! It's very helpful...And no, she's not just said she likes him - she's very much infatuated. But she does tend to exaggerate and get carried away, so I'm wary. Kind of doesn't see the glaring red flags that are apparent to me,as a friend, until it's too late. But this time, if she glosses over some big cause for concern, she'll end up thousands of miles away, in a foreign country, married. Much harder to get out of. I don't know the guy, and I don't intend to meddle either. But I do want to know what kind of dynamics they have, so I can be of help. Hence, turned to Lindaland. IP: Logged |

P.S. I read your thread. I know what you're going through, but I'm nowhere near qualified to give any astrological insight. Edit: I just read your response - and understand your belief system a little better. I hope the talk you are to have with your friend helps give you the clarity you seek.
