^ This.
I've been both moon and pluto in relationships. Natally, I'm very Plutonian, with a dash of Neptune. So, deep, obsessive feelings are my comfort zone.
I think Pluto does, subconsciously or not, have the 'upper hand', initially at least. It's almost too easy to get under the Moon person's skin. Don't even need to try to extract confessions, it all comes tumbling out.
Here's where the Moon's role is crucial - if Moony gets wind of how precious they are to Pluto, they can power-play them right back. **this is where the emotionally destructive cycle begins**
However, if they can sidestep that and use the connection constructively - then, Moon can be equally comforting to Pluto and the depth of their mutual bond is unparalleled. They'll be very protective of each other, esp each other's feelings. I could go on for ages - but you're not looking for the romantic angle here.
In a professional context, we have to interpret it slightly differently. If your boss is someone you trust, then you will find great solace in confiding in him/her. They'll be compassionate about it, and may even look out for you as far as your 'problem areas' are concerned. For instance, let's say you work at the zoo. But you're terrified of monkeys, cause you were bitten by one when you were 5. You Pluto boss will understand. He'll take care to never put you in charge of the monkey cages so you always feel safe at work. (Forgive the bizarreness of the example - just trying to illustrate a point ).
However, and this is a warning, if you suspect that your boss is not the evolved kind, or that things may someday go sour between you, they may use their knowledge of you against you.
