there is this sinastry interaction

his moon in libra, her venus in cancer

I dont know the time of birth, but there are chances of them being in square.

question: this mutual reception would be equivalent to an aspect when the degrees are not aligned in square? would a square be soften by the mutual reception? (provided there is one)
