She said I would marry more than once because I have an interception in my 7h as well as sun and Mars there The other method she used was to take the sun to represent my husbands (she said she uses sun when looking at women's charts and moon for men's charts) and then you look to see what APPLYING aspects it makes - in my chart it's a close square to moon (which is my 7h ruler) and also to Jupiter - planet of expansion I am indeed divorced ... But I don't really understand this fatalistic method of predicting the # of marriages ... Do you all think there's really a way to see the exact # of marriages in a persons chart? I just think that's a very hard thing to determine She also used my 9h to look at what my next husband may be like... I don't know, I'm a bit overwhelmed by her method and I'm not sure how valid it is So I was just curious to get some feedback here about what you think of the method and if it is one you would apply to your own chart?? I look forward to your responses xo IP: Logged |

This is why I like Vedic astrology better. Sorry to hear about your experience with the negative reading. Actually I don't think the chart can determine the exact number of marriages one will have, atleast I haven't read about or heard of any such method. It can however show if you might have more than one or not. But remember, astrology is all about potential possibilities. Nothing is set in stone. Anyways, From my understanding, the married life and spouse is always determined by the following: * 7th house sign * 7th lord sign & house placement * 7th lord condition (exalted, debilitated, neutral, sitting with friendly or enemy planets, etc) * Planets in the 7th house * Planets aspecting the 7th house * Venus (significator of wife, marriage & spouse of either sex) * Jupiter (significator of husband) * Darakarka (planet with the lowest degree, only take into account the 7 main planets, don't count Uranus, Neptune, Pluto or the Nodes) Then you would look at all the above in your D9 or Navamsha chart. It's a chart that surgically opens up the 9th house and it gives you the "meat" of your main birth chart. Why the 9th house? Because that's your dharma, it's your duty in life and results of your karma. However, it's effects only come into play once you are married, or after you've reached the age of 28. If you are using Astro.com to look at charts, make sure you choose whole signs and Hindu/Lahiri method in the drop down menu to get accurate results. You can experiment with the tropical zodiac but I find the Sidereal zodiac works better for me using these techniques. IP: Logged |

It's definitely worth it to! If you want you can post your Vedic chart here and I can take a look. IP: Logged |

Is this the type of chart you're referring to? (haha sorry newbie at the Vedic charts!) it's soooo different from what I'm used to seeing...the AC and planet signs are different... IP: Logged |

Yes, that's the right chart. While there aren't any malefic aspects to your 7th house, 7th lord, Venus, or Jupiter, I do see that your 6th lord (Venus) is in the 7th house. This can show disputes and worries concerning the marriage. Here is a great video explaining what this aspect means. http://youtu.be/VKZiV5LQBLI A good thing about the 6th house however, is that it's an upachya house, meaning that it gets better over time. So no, you likely won't keep having multiple marriages one after the other. Your Jupiter is also in a pretty good position since its in the 4th house, so it becomes very strong. I believe any astrological affliction can be overcome with awareness though. Good luck! IP: Logged |
