in a composite ,Saturn conjunct the vertex will give a focus of the male partner or the aggressive partner. it can show a control relationship. it certainly calms the relationship down but can show uneven empowerment.
it can give a strong sense of de ja vu , especially if on the ascendant.
it usually shows the environment of the relationship environment is powerful social/economic or politically. this aspect usually show one of the partners is the leader or a degree older.
