A good indicator of whether someone is going to have a long-term and meaningful impact in your life is whether you have mirrored aspects between the luminaries. What I mean is that, for example, if you have sun sextile your moon in your chart and the other person also has their sun sextile their moon in their chart – then you form a mirror (doesn’t matter what signs or houses). The implication is that because both of you process your sun/moon integration of your personality (conscious/subconscious or yin/yang) in exactly the same way, this shared experience will form a powerful and enduring magnetic bond of understanding between you. The effect of this can be seen clearly in the composite, because mirrored aspects in 2 separate Natal charts will always form either a close conjunction or opposition in the composite chart. I can vouch for this in my own experience. I share a very close identical Mirrored Sun/Moon Aspect with BOTH my husband and with my best friend of many years. Specifically - All 3 of us have sun inconjunct moon in our own individual charts (with a less than 3 degree orb difference). There is little doubt in my mind that we are, for better or worse, true soulmates, and we are in it together for the long haul. The synastry we have between our charts is more indicative of the details of how we work this out, and shows up the easy and rough bits. Actually, with my best friend, we have 3 closely mirrored aspects with our respective Suns – one to Moon, one to Jupiter and one to Mercury – so in the composite it forms a 4 planet pileup (conjunction/opposition) of those 3 planets on the composite Sun. There are additional mirrored aspects between other planets too (also with my husband), but I don’t think any of these are really as important as the Sun/Moon mirrored factor. I first heard about this on David Cochrane’s website and he explains it like this : “As explained in the book Astrology for the 21st Century, a conjunction or opposition in the composite chart forms a very powerful symmetrical energetic system. Amazingly, when a conjunction or opposition occurs in the composite chart, there are two sets of identical angles. For example: Suppose that in a composite chart the Sun is conjunct the Moon. The composite Sun is, by definition, the midoint of the Sun in both charts, and the composite Moon is the midpoint of the Moon in both charts. Let's refer to one chart as "his" chart and one as "her" chart: The conjunction or opposition in the composite chart occurs only if the angle of his Sun to her Moon is the same as the angle of her Moon to his Sun. Also the Sun-Moon angle in his chart is the same as the Sun-Moon angle in her chart, but in the opposite phase. For example: if the angle of his Sun to her Moon is 40 degrees, then the angle of her Sun to his Moon is also 40 degrees. Aso, if his Sun-Moon angle is a waxing sextile, her Sun-Moon angle is a waning sextile. To summarize, using symbols SuA for A's Sun, SuB for B's Sun, MoA for A's Moon, and MoB for B's Moon, we have the following:

(continued from last post - sorry I cut this off when I was pasting)A Conjunction or Opposition in the Composite Chart occurs only if: SuA-MoB = SuB-MoA, and SuA-MoA = SuB-MoB When angles are the same, they resonate with each other and create a powerful energetic system. When angles are the same, a symmetrical pattern is formed. Symmetry is critically important in quantum theory and in SuperString Theory. For more information on this theory, I would suggest reading Mario Livio's book, "Symmetry". I believe that astrology will grow into a discipline with strong connections to cutting edge theories in physics and mathematics.”

I went back and looked at my life changing composite.. I was only really comparing my self, havent really looked at the guys natal aspects. I checked 3 charts.. My ex husband a Virgo, an ex BF a Gem, and a Pis.. I have Venus/Pluto in hard aspects with Gem,Pisces.. I have natal venus sq pluto. I have hard Moon/pluto with Virgo, and Pisces.. I have natal Moon parallel Pluto.. Those are the aspects that I also have in my natal.. But what I really really noticed with all 3 is there is a planet conjunct my natal SN both in synastry and in the composite. Virgo Synastry Jupiter on my SN Composite Venus on my SN Gem Synastry merc/venus on my SN Composite Sun on my SN Pisces Synastry Jupiter on my SN Composite Saturn on my SN. My SN is in Cancer in my H5.. IP: Logged |
