The synastry, though.. I don't know girlie. Your Sun/Venus in his 12th plus (as you mentioned) his unaspected Moon/Mars would be a major point of contention for me.

However, your natal resonances are quite beautiful.
You have Saturn/NN natally
He has Saturn/SN natally - you're both major karma babies

You have Jupiter/Mercury natally - a vast generator of ideas
Has has Uranus/Mercury natally - he's a consumate genius
In synastry.. you have your Uranus trine his Jupiter!

His Pluto on your IC - he will absolutely change your life and alter the scope of your psychological landscape forever. This could have incredibly healing effects at it's best - you'll wonder how you could have ever been "the old you" at a certain point of the ascension.

The Eros/Psyche near doublewhammy.. I bet that's a tough siren call to tune out.

I'd love to hear everyone else's take on it. Sounds like a marvelous story you guys have created together so far

I'm so glad you responded, Athenaia. I totally forgot about his unaspected Mars. That's an unaspected Sun/Moon/Mars!!! How, by the rules of astrology are we still here after 6 years, and a brutal break-up?

The Finger of God. I've never heard of that.
Composite Chiron at the apex, conjunct his natal NN. Interestingly, he's very psychic. After our first night together, he predicted our breakup, and also our reconciliation. I see he struggles with his visions. This was one he did not want to believe, so at the same time that he warned me of the breakup, he told me it didn't have to happen. This was our first night together, and my first time traveling halfway around the world to see him. I totally ignored him..

The thing is, I don't know that I would ever have trusted him the way I do if he had not held steady through my rebellion. And although, I know he has visions of our destiny together, I don't feel he was really making an effort to connect with me until I left. I think in his inexperienced mind, he hoped to tuck me away until he was done with his studies (kind of a Cappy thing, I guess).

Our breakup was his first heartbreak. And during our reconciliation was the first time I admitted to my own weakness and suffering (not necessarily related to him) and opened to love and healing.

I almost don't want to say it, but a good deal of growth came from that pain. We both learned a lot.

Do you think my Venus and Sun in his 12th house point to the fact that we're from different countries or something else?

One possibility: I mentioned his heritage. He naturally falls into a leadership role in his country because of his family, and worldwide in my religious community because of his family and education. I am close to his immediate family, but I am a mystery to the larger community and people that already follow his work. They know he is married, but it is assumed I am not in the public because he is ultra conservative. I am not in the public (with him) because I want to maintain as much of my independence as possible. Could that explain my Venus and Sun in his 12th house?

Pluto on the IC. Thanks! I never thought of that, though I should have.

Thanks again Athenaia! Your feedback was awesome.

Think about it: How would an early Cap Sun ever not feel the presence of an early Taurus Moon in another person? How could there not be occasional tension between the emotional needs of a Taurus Moon and an Aqua Moon?

Maybe you just reduced the orbs too far, so that the lines don't show any more in the chart you posted, but if you cast a standard chart at astro.com and look at the aspect grid in the 'additional tables', you'll see it. Also consider the declinations in such a case. Even a widish aspect on the zodiac can be glued tightly together by an exact parallel, for instance.

(Also in natal; I have Moon and Jupiter 11 degrees apart in Aries, but parallel exact, and it works out like a conjunction).

*ETA* If comments disappear so early on in a thread, it's probably glitching big time. Better open a new thread for this topic.

Hi Vajra! I haven't even read your comment. I'm at work, but I'm quoting you because there's something up with this thread.

ETA: You're right! I totally forgot that I was experimenting and reduced the orb to 3 degrees or something. I cant even remember what I was doing. I knew something was up. And yes, I certainly remember seeing that trine, and I remember hating the square. Lol. I don't have time right now to start a new thread. I hope the thread has healed itself, otherwise I will repost when I get home...but that will make me want to edit...and edit things out. Lol. Anyway, thanks Vajra! SO Nice to hear from you.

Sorry for the delay...

I had written feeling slightly inspired, confident I had something good to say...

When that got erased I lost my mojo.

Maybe it was an Act of God.

I agreed with Athenaia on all points.

I'm just not liking composite Mercury-Saturn squaring the nodes, it seems like so many arduous, tedious arguments might be in store for you, yet again...

I know life is supposed to be good AND bad but I'm just grumpy and wishing someone would leave the wool over my eyes and let me believe in fairy tale love like when I was little.

But anyway, your gut instinct is always more important than astrology. Go with that. And let us know how it goes!

Yes. Saturn/Sun/Mercury squaring the nodes. I don't know what a square to the nodes means or is like. But man do I know about arduous, tedious arguments. It's kind of our thing. Our 9th house Mars in Aries also squares the nodes.

And see how that's a 3rd house Merc, but with Saturn conjunct. It's like serious conversations about things that don't matter. It looks like those Mercury/Saturn (idle talks taken too seriously) and that Mars, were (SN) and continue to (NN) challenge our goal.

12th house node getting squares from Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Mars. Hmmm... I have to think about that.

I know what you mean about the fairytales. I chase them. Over rainbows, down rabbit holes, following the yellow brick road. They exist. But I didn't find them in those places. I was told where to find them, but I've said before, I learn in the field. Can't take anybody's word for it...

You've been married several years. You know where they are; in the heart of the dreamer. The real dream (fairytale) is the reality of the dreamer. The dreamer who summons the dream isn't the person pretending to live the dream. It's the person who commits, suffering the loneliness of being human, and the agony of the mundane. Who says sorry for the sake of love, and hears sorry for the sake of love; this is the person with the need and the power (belief) to manifest dreams.

^^ Beautiful!

And I'm glad you see what I meant about the nodes. I think with two highly evolved people, these squares don't mean as much...

But I also wonder if being highly evolved means that you choose people with whom you are more deeply compatible? Who don't make you work so hard for love?

I just dunno...'never have figured out what love is.

Those difficult relationships are lessons in love for those of us that need the lessons, so no; maybe not so evolved, lol.

Love, like God, has 99 names. One is, that which overcomes
