Have you found that the sign that planet rules is strongly represented in synastry, or in the other person? Is that sign represented in the person you've chosen to make your future with?Feel free to discuss variations of my Q. IP: Logged |

Neptune and Mars conjunct my NN. While I am not usually drawn very much to Pisces-Suns (though I LOVE Aries-energy) there is often strong Neptune, Mars-synastry, and also their dispositor Jupiter in Pisces just MUST be strongly aspected in synastry. But it seems I tend to go more for the opposition or square. IP: Logged |

I love my Saturn NN conjunction, but Mars/Neptune conjunct NN...in Sag??? I might be jealous.
Excellent point about the depositor! Mercury is like the Venus of my synastry- Saturn/NN in Virgo. A square to the nodes or a square to Jupiter? Go slowly. You're usually flying waaay over my head.

I have saturn conj NN in capricorn, 1st house. In the synastry with my s.o, we have quite a few saturn aspects. He has 10th house saturn sextile cap asc n virgo venus. He has a fair bit of saturn influence according to his pullen chart. There were feelings of "I can see you in my future", "We'll do well together"...etc... He has traits that I like but don't have. He certainly has been contributing to the process of molding and polishing my qualities and personal goals. IP: Logged |

Todd gave a great link to Planet/Node conjunctions on another board, a while ago.Let me find it... http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63539 I have also a Node/Mars conj like Ceri (we have an exact Node/Mars conj in composite because of that btw ).. This is what it says about the natal connection Mars/Node conjunction (page 2); quote: Mars conjunct the nodal axis gives a powerful charisma or “magic” around them. the individuals aura is felt by all around. This aspect gives an inherent “luck” of direction. That is ,if the individual is not overly bound by ego desires, then their spontaneous actions and responses are usually correct. It gives an “intuitive” sense of what their “path” in life is. But if the native has selfish motivations then this favorable vibration goes out the window. this aspect gives a magnetic quality to he native and are usually very attractive whether the physical body is “attractive” or not. This affect is similar to what athletes call being in the “zone”. If one can stay in the moment and not “think “ too much then the expectations and desires tend to follow. the nodal axis gives a strong sexual aura also. And in a woman’s chart sexual abuse can be problem. With both mars and Venus, the sexual aura is very powerful from birth and hence sexually abuse experiences are very likely. On the positive side I usually is associated with a strong sexual drive but is not aggressive unless mars is afflicted. This mars aspect is closely associated with the 25th hexagram in the I CHING. As a personally magnetic aspect, negative forces as well as positive forces can be directed a the native, as others may react if the native does not respond o their entreaties . With a north node transit ,the native has an easier time following their “path”, as they intuitively take the correct turns.
So Ceri, I guess we're pretty magnetic and possibly together even more ;D Ps; it's in Aqua and without Aqua energy I can't breathe ... this current one has Aqua-Moon (as more had) and Venus/Uranus square (but that's a ***** now and then pffft).
But it's a struggle also since that Mars/NN conj is square my Scorp-Moon, do I have to say more? ;D IP: Logged |

Virgo planets mostly and those directly conjunct my NN. Occasionally a Pisces planet, but not a biggie usually (though Venus at around 10-13 Pisces seems to have some draw)IP: Logged |

Yes it does ^.And as I was a bit concerned about the orbs.. when reading further on page 2 there, we see the answer on that question from someone also wondering about it; quote: when looking for the affect of transits i use a orb of +/- 1 degree and as i have already said, i look for the exact arc minute of the transitting conjunction or aspect to predict events.in a natal chart though , i give a wide orb as the affect of the nodal axis in the nativity can extend to +/-10 degrees. with these wide orbs i use a more numeralogical interpretation to describe the affect . functionally i use a 5 _6 degree orb for a conjunction.

I have Saturn conjunct NN too Muddy I can relate to that "we'll do well together feeling". I feel even better if I think we'll do well in business together, though it's not necessary. Ill be back! IP: Logged |

LOL We are! Well mine is not that close, but within the parameters with about 5 degrees. Do you know if he uses mean or true Node? And I do use the same orb for "serious transits" IP: Logged |

Oh wow! Yeah, your case really does fit my theory. I was wondering why I, being so heavily water, have infatuations with water and fire, but settle down with air and earth...do you also see the depositor represented in your synastry? IP: Logged |

The link Mir provided is a long discussion about planets conjunct the nodes. You might find something there. I haven't had a chance to give it the read it deserves - pretty in-depth. So you're not that into Pisces. What about Libra, Taurus, and Neptune energy in your partner or synastry?

I have Mars conjunct NN in my 7th house (Ruled by Scorpio) Aries rules my 12th house. My mars is the most aspected planet in my natal chart. Mars square saturn. Mars semi-sextile Jupiter. Mars semi-square Uranus. Mars semi-square Neptune. Mars conjunct Pluto. Mars square chiron. Mars opposite ASC. Mars sextile MC. I wouldn't say it's strongly represented in my synastry with people but it definitely plays out strongly if that makes sense. My drive is the reason 98% of my relationships failed. I feel like if I would have waited to act on certain things or acted on certain things first, I would still be with XYZ.. but then again, all my relationships have a heavy karmic feel to them so deep down, something tells me they aren't going to last anyway so I just act accordingly without any forethought or planning which translates into "crazy psycho girl" at some point (I have a Scorpio stellium conjunct Jupiter by the way). I'm currently dating someone where Mars is the most prominent in our synastry and composite. I believe he is my "martian" soulmate brought into my life to help me heal my martian wounds or at least channel them constructively. We've physically fought, cried, hugged, etc. it's a very passionate affair that is always centered around martian qualities like sex, ambition, our direction as individuals and as partners, violence, passion, etc. this is the first synastry where Mars was extremely obvious on synastry AND composite. I've dated a few guys where their NN conjunct my mars but those relationships always ended extremely fast for some reason. I've always dated guys who bring out my more aggressive side vs my feminine side. Very weird but interesting stuff. I love this post! You opened my eyes so much just my responsing to YOUR question. Thank you! I hope I helped you out as well. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto conjunct NN in natal, and yes I always fall for scorpio people (either sun or dominant scorpio) I also noticed that most people I came to fall for had either Pluto (generational placement most probably) conjunct my NN or it fell in either their scorpio or eighth house. IP: Logged |

Thanks Venus. I do like them all especially Libra's but I don't get to meet a lot of them. Recently I have met a lot of libra Asc people with Pluto in the first but that's probably because of tPluto on my dsc. however my Venus and nn are in the 9th house and I have been attracting a lot of men with Sagittarius moons 😂 I love them and hate them at the same time

I have a Pisces SN, and Virgo NN tightly conjunct Saturn. I think Saturn on the NN causes the NN to be a complete mystery to the native until a certain age. Everything about my childhood, young adult life, and my environment in my earlier years was Piscean. You would have seen the Cancer/Leo/Taurus and everything else, but my truth has always been this knowing I access through non-commitment, and not knowing. It's a doorway I pass through in order to find answers. The problem has always been, the answers only serve me, and because of the nature of the knowledge and the way in which I access it, I am only able to communicate a small portion of my understanding, when I have a deep desire to help others and make a difference in the world. In earlier years Saturn's energy felt like a threat. I imagined that anything Saturn had to offer would cut me off from my gateway and I would be lost and stuck in the world of misery I perceive many others to be in, with no help and refuge for myself or anyone else. I see now that Saturn isn't trying to rob me, but is a gateway itself to my NN, which is the proper outlet for my SN energy. On another note, I'd be interested in comparing the experience of Saturn returns of NN/Saturn people to others. IP: Logged |

Yeah your post was awesome. I've been "crazy psycho girl" too many times, and I don't even have a Scorpio stellium to blame! It's interesting that the relationship that's working is Martian! I love that. I don't consider myself Saturnine at all, but I guess heavy Saturn is what it takes for someone to put up with this psycho. Thanks so much for sharing. IP: Logged |

I have the flip,,, Uranus conjunct North Node and in LEO and at 11TH HOUSE CUSP or just inside 10th depending on house sys choice. I have had a lot of AQ in my life! It is a most unusual arrangement. Very soon T Uranus will be within 1 degree of dsc while T node will be just few from natal sun, exact on progressed MC,south node on natal Pallas while Jupiter also conjuncts natal sun and all this in my progressed Lunar return year. Tough to say, I don't have much knowledge of the NN. From the little that I do know, and from my *very* basic interpretation of my own chart, I think the reason why I find my saturn-NN conjunction alright is because Saturn and NN are in the same sign as my sun/asc/venus/neppy/uranus. The energy is just there, and familiar. I always feel and think that I have what it takes to deal with whatever comes my way (or whatever I seek out and get myself into), and that the "roads" I walk on are good for me, in some way, shape or form.
