What happened in your life when a progressed planet changed direction?

my Aries man was born with a retro Mars....and just so it happened that in the year we met, his progressed Mars stopped being retrograde, turned stationary and is now set to start a direct motion for the fist time in his life. It is stationary at this point, and at an aries point at that - at 0'23 Libra! I wonder if that points to a life changing direction..

For me pr mercury is really really slowing down (will turn retro) which means it has been on 25 Aquarius FOREVER, exactly sextile my nMercury and Sun, which is rather nice actually, and curiously enough will repeat the conjunction to pAvx (that was exact when I met Mr Sag incidentally). I think wen that happens, pMoon will be conjunct pVertex (which sort of is a repetition as well, as back then the pAvx-pMercury was on my n Moon, though back then pVenus was in play, too, but she`s prefers to visit n Lilith this time around this timeframe).

But anyway I do think it is significant, as Mercury is my DESC-ruler. Though interestingly so far whenever Transit Mercury went retrograde I had pretty good periods of time, usually coming out of the blue and all of a sudden but really nice things happening that usually made me go like: "But I thought that was IMPOSSIBLE and could NEVER happen" lol

Well we shall wait and see.

pVenus square Mars sounds very passionate though, maybe a bit volatile and rough, but quite sexy

haha I just checked the chart for when my pMercury will turn retro. Which will happen on 26th february 2018 at 10:08 p.m.

pVenus will just have had her ingress into Pisces (0°14 Pisces) and being trine my nUranus on 1°21 Scorpio.

For some reason I am very keen of retro mercury. It gives more levity to Mercury, being retrospective in its retro motion and all. Like, withdrawing to think and contemplate. I like that. I am pretty sure you will gain a new insight on life.

I donīt think it would be good for my Mercury to get even MORE introspective though, however, as I said Retro MErcury has always been very valuable periods for me.

BTW one of those times I resurfaced in Mr Sag`s life, and the first time he approached me during a solo concert of his, his pr True Node had JUST turned direct. lol

And just the days prior to the last concert his pr Pluto has turned retrograde.

Just the month his pr True Node has turned retro again, or actually keeps on hovering on 29 Leo.
What is a bit bewildering is that it turned direction again the exact day he suddenly posted some kissing smiley at me, which seemed to me so abruptly and coming out of nowwhere. It`s nothing important, I know, but just this coinciding with the directional changes in progression is curious (well he was having that day his pMoon square pSun exact as well).

BTW his p Mars turned retro in the year between us first seeing each other and the year we actually met. lol

For me my pPluto turned retro in june 1999, with my progressed new Moon being just 6 months away. Was quite an important year for me, if I could only remember it better!

What I do remember is being invited to a wedding in winter/spring that year (curiously that wedding took place in Mr Sag`s hometown) and a chaotic ride back to the trainstation as an unknown young man was so nice to give me a ride there, and well, pretty much everything about that was chaotic and I guess I wasa real ***** . At least my mom said so, I do remember that, that she was annoyed with me cause in my defensity I was coming across as rude to a young man who had been so nice to me and who would not have given me a ride if he had not liked me/ been interested in me and how I would never get a man if I treated men like that! (I do remember that argument quite well, and I am still feeling sorry for my attitude, he WAS nice, I think. But I think it was the first time that it really got through to me, that I could come across as really rude, even if I did not want to. I was in a bad emotional shape though, not that it is an excuse. But I don`t like to be faced with unforeseen challenges and not being in control of a situation or things not running as I thought they would, and poor guy was the victim of that I guess. That poor guy must actually be Mr Sag`s age exactly. ).

For me the time when Pluto turned direct was emotionally intense and exhausting, yes, but not that traumatizing (though my grandfather died that year, which was of course painful, but grandparents do die eventually, so I guess it was simply part of life, though it also meant a pretty deep change in the whole family-make up, as we had been taking care for him in the year after his stroke and until his death - when he had the stroke Tr Pluto was conjunct my n Mars and n ASC, and it was almost creepy, but when Tr Pluto was conjunct my pr ASC, my grandmother died).

Anyway for me it was an important time, but it was more important in the sense of starting an evaluation of my own behaviour and what went wrong, but at the same time starting to get more active in my university-life and really putting work into advancing (Pluto rules the 11th and 12th house and conjuncts MC natally).

I wonder if Mr Sag`s Pluto-direction-change is reflected by its astro-symbolism it has in his own natal chart (ruler of 8th house located in intercepted 7th house - I always found it interesting that he started the relationship with his ex-girlfriend, which lasted about 7 years I think, with the direction of sa DESC conjunct n Pluto, maybe Pluto was in this instance a relationship planet for him because of his natal position in the 7th house).

For me I can see the directionchange of Mercury having something to do with either relationships or my identity (Mercury rules 7th house and intercepted 9th house and is located in 1st house natally, and pMercury is in 2nd house).
