Sun/MC means the midpoint between Sun and MC in one chart.

Let`s say Sun is at 10 Taurus and MC is at 10 Cancer. The midpoint between Sun and MC would be at 10 Gemini - this is the near midpoint, the far midpoint would be at 10 Sagittarius, exactly opposite 10 Gemini.

At the midpoint the energies of two planets or objects meet/ fuse, and whenever something activates that midpoint, the fused energies of Sun and MC are being activated (it`s a bit like a Sun-MC-conjunction) - here in this instance probably having a lot to do with one person`s very visible identity.

If Venus is on 10 Gemini, she would activate this midpoint in the chart through conjunction.
