Hmm.. I zeroed in on that Jupiter-South Node also... what an aspect for helping you feel comfortable and encouraged in exactly the area you already feel too great a sense of security... when growth is in the other direction but being lavishly encouraged in the SN zone...

I know how that can be, feeling like you are getting the brunt of the other person's unaspected planet. Unaspected moon seems to be especially needy in wynastry, and sometimes unnervingly devoted... I'm not surprised you feel something missing as you're not resonating in a big pronounced way with his essential emotional being even though it's calling out to you... wonder about midpoints to his Moon though and also you do have some nice trines by sign to it... still.

Based on the charts AND your words athenaia, I think he IS the one.

Exactly opposed Lunar Phases. MY gosh.. attraction and completion to the core. With that his Moon is vasya to yours, he'll go through the fire for you, as a matter of speaking.

^ those 2 aspects are the first things I look for in synastry. And BOTH are there. I don't expect much more to see then. IF 'unaspected planets' have its influence (which I don't even think the more I start seeing astrology from a phase perspective) then those opposing lunar phases perfectly make up for a 'lack of aspect'. That is my take.

quote:
Hell, if he isn't the one, then what the hell am I looking for??

Maybe an actualization and with that an awareness of a "the grass is Always greener on the other side" thingie? After all you can't shake off the feeling he's not "the one". But another voice completely convinced he IS.

It's a rare thing to find a guy like that Athenaia. And we all make mistakes.
But it's not that I share my words here to convince you in any way. Let that be clear. I'm well aware some experience might be needed in order to come at a more appreciative point as such.

Curious what kinds of transits you're experiencing now, athenaia? And what your progressed synastry looks like too... à la mir

His Juno on your North Node suggests that the lesson lies in commitment... if that's any help.

And yet I've yet to see Juno-NN contacts in synastry meaning life long partnership.

The person I dated longest I had Juno-NN with.. his Juno on my NN... i left him after 3.5 years because somebody more exciting came along. Straight up--I wasn't especially unhappy but I wasn't head over heels by any stretch. Yet looking back that was a good thing and leaving him took my life in such a crazy other direction--I don't regret anything but life sure would have evolved in a more stable way if I'd stayed with him and I sometimes can't help but wonder, you know? It's strange the ways it's similar.

Now I have my current lover's Juno on my NN.... round two I guess ...

Maybe that's the thing about Juno-NN... Juno wants you to be their partner/wife figure and they figure that's fulfilling enough in itself... they don't have vested interest beyond that. That's the lens through which they're experiencing your NN! Does that make sense? ! I think I'm keying into it right now maybe...

My person--his progressed Amor is conjunct pr. MC and his natal Juno right now which makes him unwilling to commit unless it's absolute real deal 100% AMOR.... which comprises everything... keeps me wanting it but I'm afraid i don't measure up. Which in itself is so problematic.

At a glance the progressed synastry looks pretty cool... Sun-IC... i like the natal Mars-IC synastry as well... exciting, no?

The orb for pr. Synastry should be tight, 3 degrees but 1 degree is best... so the Sun-Moon happened a while ago

But again--as mir said--both ways! And a new moon in the progressed composite is lovely too.

Very crazy
And TR Neptune squares my Moon at the same time...
My guy, the Aries, has a natal Moon-Neptune square, so my transit reflects his nature..

T Uranus just passed over your Venus as well, athenaia... not surprising you've been thinking this way, overall

My Nodal transits is coming up...the Nodes will cross over my ASC/DSC in Pisces/Virgo. And over my Aries DSC/ASC at Virgo/Pisces ( we have them conjunct and reversed). The Nodes will transit them in a couple of months.

But hear me out... the TR Saturn will soon get to square your ASC/DSC, I think early next year. If you havent been able to clean up the relationship baggage by then, TR Saturn will wipe it out for you, free of charge. But Only if it is in your best interest. Saturn is diligent like that. It hurts, inevitably, but Saturn gets the job done.

I guess it does bother me.. then I tell myself, don't the perks outweigh the negatives? I always come back to this thought at the end of it..

No Mercury-Mercury aspect. Hmmm

And Mercury rules your ASC, it's the chart ruler, so it's intrinsic to how you present yourself to the world.

Your Mercury doesn't receive any positive aspects from him...the conjunction to his Chiron looks potentially over-sensitive, as if you can trigger something with your words?

But with his sun-Neptune and Pisces moon, he may not be interested in "normal" communication...or maybe he'd rather just make a student out of you than listen?

Your sun isn't strongly aspected here so that is kinda left out, too.

It's easy to see the "swiss cheeseness" of this picture, despite the many positive things.

If you presented this as a "What do you think? are we compatible?" thread, I think a lot of us would have said "sort of!"

I like to see aspects between the luminaries. Your moon sextile his sun is good, if that's a tight orb, but it's just comfortable, not huge.

I like the composite but it is pretty confusing. A little structure, a little excitement, but not a clear & strong theme.

Basically I see what you're saying, it's nice but leaves something to be desired.

Athenaia, just leave. Overall synastry potential is only 3/10.
