We have a very tight DW in Synastry (one Opposition, one Square) and I don't really know what to make of it.As far as I understand it, there would be a conflict between expansion and conservation. But Jupiter also symbolizes values and the husband - this generally should fit with Saturn anyway? Does it imply any information about stability in relationships? Their formality maybe? What are your experiences? IP: Logged |

I don't have experience with hard Jupiter/Saturn aspects in synastry, but I do natally and know the energies quite well so I will share with you what I know and you can see if it applies- but my Jupiter/ Saturn opposition is probably my most favorite aspect in my entire chart. It gives me grounded, realistic optimism, strength, and a solid foundation. I don't just move forward on a whim, but my Jupiterian gains are balanced out by a strong saturn. I think it also depends on what signs the planets fall in, but I think it is a very strong, powerful, and lasting energy when these two planets interact. IP: Logged |

Oh Wow!! Thank you, missbliss!!That's really interesting...so you experience the opposition as balancing out of energies...that makes sense especially in that planetary constellation, because Jupiter and Saturn are complementary. So maybe the hard aspect is not so bad after all....I was scared that Saturn always means: I will rain on your parade. Or in that case: I will block your growth or wishes for expansion. But it could be facilitating and structuring the dreams of course....cool. IP: Logged |
