When I was riding on the bus home today, that thought struck me in relation to parallels in synastry. My Venus is 24°06 S, so at high declination, even out of bounds.
If I was looking for parallels to someone else`s Sun, it seems the group of people where this could be found, is really scarce. ONLY people born on days surounding 20th or 21st december will "match" that.
As I said it is just a random observation (and only true in terms of the Sun or angles of course, as those are bound to the ecliptic), but still could be one of the reasons why I seem to be drawn to men being born in mid-late december.
They are the ones able to "touch" my Venus, which is so far out there that it is untouchable to any other Sun-position (except of course the contraparallel, taking place in june).
And well my Mercury is actually completely out of reach to ANY Sun-position (being on 24.38 S and hence no Sun will be able to come close enough for a parallel within 1° orb).
Of course other planets might make parallels to my Mercury and Venus though, but in order to do this they also have to be high in declination and actually oob.
Another thing I also thought about is that if there is a transiting or progressing planet making a parallel with my Venus, it will last so much longer than it would do if Venus was at let`s say 7 degree of declination, because in the higher regions the planets move more slowly.
As I said random observation.
