I literally got this PERfect synastry with a pisces guy (I'm virgo) , we have moon-sun conjunction, venus-mars connection, venus-sun, moon-jupiter, moon-mars, sun-mars - everything seems extremely perfect and wonderfulBUT my mercury in libra is just squaring his saturn and neptune. It's like we just can't talk with each other at all! I don't feel intellectually stimulated. If I say something, I feel the response is just boring, not initiating long conversations! I still don't know him, actually I havent even met him in real life... was just wondering what it will result with, when my mercury is that bad aspected!? (I am a virgo, so naturally mercury and communication means a lot to me, my mercury is also squaring saturn and neptune in my own natal chart) IP: Logged |

So, you don't know him or haven't met him in real life yet, but you're talking online I'm assuming? If you feel it's this bad this early on, how important is it to you? Is it worth continuing on in the hopes that seeing him in person will stimulate the conversation? Trying to justify a relationship with "perfect" synastry when something just feels off could end up being a waste of your time and his. If you haven't experienced this before in other relationships then you obviously know what you need to feel satisfied. On a positive note though (depending on how you look at it) I know a married couple who have been together almost 7 years and both of their Mercuries are unaspected in their (generally overall) bland synastry. I'm still scratching my head over that one. I think it starts with the natals though, and maybe if you're naturally a talkative person you can overcome this somehow. The husband is a Gemini with a Gemini DSC to boot! Obviously communication is important to him too. I experienced this in my last relationship - his Mercury was unaspected in our synastry and mine with only a square to his Sun. This is before my knowledge of astrology mind you...but I NEVER felt like it was difficult to talk to him. Maybe we kept it light, and never engaged in deep penetrating conversation? When I reflect back, this may have been the case, but I never thought about it at the time. I am a naturally talkative person, and so is he, so maybe we got around it this way. I think another thing that has to be taken into consideration is how comfortable the silence is between you. I can definitely say I had a "comfortable silence" with my ex so maybe we didn't feel the need to chatter non-stop. This is a topic for another thread but just something to think about.

If you have that aspect in your own chart I wouldn't worry too much about it. Its a learning experience because its what you attracted.IP: Logged |

good points! I don't think it's that important really, since I don't know him or remember him at all (apparently we have talked before, like 5 years ago) I just really wished I could control my own curiosity and not look peoples chart up, before I meet them:P IP: Logged |

Obviously it's not a perfect synastry. That does not exist in the real world. You know there are communication challenges. Also your viewpoints are at odds. Any joint interests in commerce will also be subject to complications. IP: Logged |

Last guy I dated his mercury ic squared my mars. Idk, felt like the perfect guy when I met him but he couldn't handle a few misunderstandings so he wasn't open to being more than hooking up over a few questions???? Playing games if you ask me, people do what they want. Good luck !!! IP: Logged |
