So i've noticed this pattern all my life, especially with male sagittarius but sometimes female sagittarius' as well. I feel like they're a very popular sign, which people see as one of the most friendliest and easy to get along with. In my life, I for the life of me can't get along with Sagittarius Sun, Moon or even Mars in Sagittarius and I don't know why. There's alot of tension, and there's always a passionate dislike for one another. As a Sun in Libra, there should be a sextile aspect to a Sun in Sagittarius.here's my chart: IP: Logged |

You have Sun in Libra, that is right, but the stellium in Scorpio is much more condensed, and you have Moon in Capricorn. Sometimes we do not get on very well with signs that are sort of "neighbour-signs". Have you ever played the piano? And played two notes directly between each other simultaneously? It sounds very, well, not a harmonious sound. It is dissonant, like nails scraping on a chalkboard. There is actually much to learn from each other, but sometimes we donīt want that, and things just feel off and like the other person does not get at all what we are about or what is really important (for us) and then we can get into arguments or simply being annoyed. Often, if there are neighbour-signs emphasized, we also will have some planets in fitting signs to balance that out and give us a feeling like the learning-process could actually be worthwile. I imagine that is not the case with the Sags you met though. I wonder though if you met a Sag with Sun in the mid of the sign, where it would actually sextile your Sun, and additionally maybe having some personal planets in a water or earth sign to positively aspect your Venus, Mercury or Moon, if that would feel slightly different. Though if the Sun was in the mid of the sign it would probably also square Chiron, that wouldnīt be easy either. Usually I would say early Sag degrees might work too, for the trine to your Mars, but here it would at the same time square your Saturn, and activate the Mars-Saturn-quinkunx, I am not sure how fond you would be of that happening. It might feel a bit uncomfortable. Not to mention that the Sag-Sun might not be too appreciative of being squared by Saturn. Probably a late Sag-Sun would actually be better, as it wouldnīt annoy your planets too much, of course there would be not much of a connection either. Strangers in the night passing by pretty unnoticed, I guess.
But of course it would depend on the other person`s whole chart, as the other planets will figure into this as well. But yes I can see why you would not be too fond of Sags.

thanks for the reply! I didn't know too much about the neighbouring sign incompatibility, because usually emphasis is on signs that are squared - yet if you look at my chart and what signs usually square them, I really get along with Leos, Aquarius, Taurus, Aries and Cancers. I think perhaps the Sagittarius incompatibility and strong tension is due to the early degrees being squared with Saturn, the mid degrees being squared with Chiron and the later degrees perhaps being squared with my ascendant?? I don't know much about Sun Square Ascendant in synastry but it's possible that it's a contributing factor. IP: Logged | |
