my 2nd house is in capricorn-aqua-pisces, only bml lilith is here in aqua. my 8th house is in cancer, leo with venus/mars and virgo. if somone's sun/mercury/venus fall in my 2nd and moon in 8th (in leo). and in empty taurus 5th house their mars falls here.could this set-up bring up abandonment, (past)abuse issues in the house person? how the house and as well as the planet person are affected? would the planet person commit based on the house person's material assets? 2 and 8th houses are very sensitive to other planets falling in them. It doesn't matter if the native's houses are empty or not. The house person will definitely feel a deep urge to connect with the planet person ( after a while), the planet person stirs up the house person emotions. Any type of emotions. It's a volatile connection and one hard to forget because it touches deeply. IP: Logged |

Yes, and that is amazingly true for the 2nd house as well. Imo the 2nd house does not get the credit it truely deserves (I tend to downplay it myself, but to my detriment so!)In fact that might have been the thing that made me pay really notice to Mr Sag. His Venus falls into my 2nd house, and it just surprised me how he could so easily evoke a feeling of being valued and appreciated (on quite an earthy level). Maybe he makes anyone feel that way, but to me this was a new experience, and while it does not sound exciting (Venus in 2nd house), it`s one I value much. This is the Capricorn part of my 2nd house, I do have Moon and BML myself in 2nd house, but in the Aquarian part of it, and I have some family members and friends putting planets there (and conjunct my Moon actually), and I do feel very valued in these relationships as well, but that feels different, like it happens on a more mental, intellectual, idea-level, being appreciated for thoughts I have and express and how I act in friendships. I wonder if the dispositors might have a bit to say about how it is felt or expressed, too. the Aqua-part of my 2nd house is disposited by Uranus on the cusp of 11th house, while the Cap-part of my 2nd house is disposited by Saturn in 8th house. what does dispositors have to do with synastry house overlays? let me see if i get this right because i'm not sure 2nd house cusp capricorn which is ruled by saturn which is in my 10th in scorpio which is ruled by pluto? so my 2nd house would get a plutonic flavor or energy? as for synastry should i look for pluto aspects or saturn from the other to my chart? in terms of houses we usually call them rulers, but I really think they are dispositors (all just a matter of terminology)Anyway if Capricorn is on the cusp of 2nd house, then Saturn becomes the messenger of 2nd house matters and carries them over to the house Saturn itself is placed in, in your case the 10th. So whatever the 2nd house means to you (self worth, what you value etc.) manifests in the 10th house, becomes very visible there. so the underlying purpose of SAturn in 10th house (working hard for example - which is only ONE possibility) is the feeling of being valuable (2nd house). and yes, the sign saturn is in would give a flavour to that as well.
Dispositors show how (sign) and where( house) you express certain planetary energies, they are elaborating on the sign-placement of the planet in question.
For example many people can have Sun in Sagittarius - and they will share certain traits, however there will also be distinctions and how they will express their Sagittarianness in a more specific way is indicated by where Jupiter is placed in their chart. my Sag-Sun is actually a Sag/Pisces - Sun, so even more of a Jupiter-Neptune vibe as I have already. Mr Sag has Jupiter in Virgo so he really is a Sag/Virgo-Sun, and he is so much more practical and grounded and in touch with his physicality than me. It is fascinating to me. my brother has MOon in Sag and Jupiter in Sag as well (conjunct Moon and Uranus) - he is a clown and philosopher and so freaking bright and communicative, yet has that problems with authorities/ teachers who have to judge him. its pretty pure Sag energy right there with the influence of Uranus. BTW ther eis an article on dispositors over at inner wheel blog http://theinnerwheel.com/2009/11/28/understanding-dispositors/

I have Pluto in my husband's 8H and I think I've rearranged his life in ways he never thought possible and probably hoped would never happen LOL Then again, his Sun,Mercury is in my 8H and the same could probably be said for me.

Potentially a strong intense overlay, however I always check how the planets and angles are aspected, if there are no aspects to the ASC, the 8th house overlay may not even register too much. IP: Logged |

sorry that i haven't been back but i'm still mulling over this 2nd-8th and why he has such an impact on me... it is really not easy and also i can't engross what i feel or goes on. i'd say it feels dna changing or something like that, so it's is true that it's deep but i don't know why this person so it's not easy... anyway thank you very much for your responses so far, i really appreciate them and your help too! <3 PS: somebody wrote in another thread that a person with 2nd house overlays cured their addiction and this subject is very on the forefront for me too as well as physical appearance, carrer, sex among others..
PS2: i don't know if this has anything to do with the synastry but perhaps he's triggering a venus/mars pluto/neptune trine 'talent' triangle in my chart whatever this means... IP: Logged |

one more thing quickly - his moon doesn't make an aspect to my 8th house venus/mars... although we have sun-moon conjunct but probably out of sign, and other DWs like sun/moon uranus, jupiter, pluto... i don't know... it means a lot to me.IP: Logged |
