Go on ASTRO.con
Go to extended chart selection under Horoscopes and Drawing and Calculations
Then click please select a chart type
Then click "progressed chart"
Then go under options SAME PAGE
Look where it says "Start date with charts marked with *"
Put the day month year when you want to see the progressed charts

For transits I usually just create a slot and I put transits and instead of putting male or female I put "event" and then just put the location and day time of the event.
