The only interpretation I've found online for this aspect is here at Linda Goodman forums from 2006, and was contributed by Darkdreamer.

It gave the following interpretation from Magi Astrology:

"Quite often, this clash makes you disinterested in this person - you just don't feel the right chemistry. This is a good thing because you would not want to get involved with anyone whose Saturn clashes with your natal Juno."

Why might this be the case? Anyone any thoughts on Saturn opposite Juno in synastry?

*bump*

Would also like to learn about the conjunction.

Maybe iQ would like to pitch in here as well?

--------------
Both Saturn & Juno are about commitment, though in different ways. If they're in opposition, the couple's ideas of commitment might be diametrically opposed to each others'(?) But they also share a common thread, despite the fact that they espouse different ends of it. If they could find common ground in that, each fulfilling what the other lacks, then it could be binding.
The square might be a true 'clash' and take more work, IMO. It'll be helped or hindered by other aspects in the synastry.
