It seems to me, after some research and study, that solar arcs, because of their simplicity and sophistication, can point us in a particular direction in terms of forecasting and getting specific with dates when we line things up between our solar arcs and natals and those of our partners. We are looking for conjunctions, oppositions, and squares in our solar arc chart to our own natals first I think, and then looking to see if similarly notable things are going on for our partners or loved ones.

When things are happening at the same time in both charts independently (natal-SA), it seems prudent to check other systems for synchronicities as well, and see if we are in step with our partner in terms of solar arc development and progressions, and if we can narrow down certain years or even dates of special significance.

Of course, we could do this from any angle, beginning with any form of predictive technique, but solar arcs are so simple and sophisticated that they seem like a good one to use to begin with. I'm not even positive which system led me to realize the significance of the year I've identified below as being significant, but for some reason the solar arcs cinched the significance of it for me (even though I've known for a while that at some point in the future our pr.Sun-Venus opposition would be perfecting and had even looked it up--things didn't click until I combined all these systems).

I have noticed what seem like some very significant overlays of my solar arc chart and that of my partner to our natals lately. Specifically I'm impressed by the activation of each of our Sun/Moon midpoints by Solar Arc direction at this time; his directed Midheaven is conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint (within 2 degrees).

My solar arc North Node is at 9 degrees of Aries; his Sun/Moon midpoint is 10 Aries. There's a lot of other fun stuff regarding Solar Arc points to our natal charts synastrically (like my SA Pluto (my chart ruler) conjunct his natal Jupiter, desc ruler).

One of the most fascinating series of revelations I've turned up though are predictive in nature, I suppose, in that they clearly point to a particular year/date (I used June 1 2022 for my chart renderings once I realized what I was seeing), and my observations are as follows:

His SA Vertex will meet my natal Sun/Moon midpoint in 6 years, and at the same time his SA and progressed Sun will have just passed the conjunction with his natal Venus.

His converse progressed Sun will be conjunct my North Node that year, his converse progressed Venus will be conjunct his natal Sun/Moon midpoint, and my converse progressed Sun AND Moon will be conjunct my natal Venus that year (for a converse progressed New Moon on my natal Venus! ).

That's a lot of Sun-Venus action already... but additionally, at that time my own SA Venus will be conjunct my natal Sun.

Also, that is the year that our progressed synastric Sun-Venus opposition will be perfecting (we have double-whammy Sun-Venus opposition in natal synastry). His progressed vertex will be conjunct my natal anti-vertex that year...

It goes on and on: if we're not still together 6 years from now, that's still a heck of a lot of coincidences, and I imagine we might get back in touch at that time with very good effect.

Some more notable configurations for that year: My progressed Moon conjunct his natal Moon and his progressed Moon conjunct my natal South node. This thread: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/203001.html
says that it is a marriage indicator when we see our progressed Moon making contact to the other person's Moon, among other things.

Progressed composite Venus will be conjunct Progressed Composite Vertex at that time. My progressed Ascendant will be sesquisquare his natal Sun/Moon midpoint, and my progressed Venus will have been sesquisquare that point a few years previous.

That year, more minor, his SA Venus will be conjunct my natal Chiron (as his progressed Venus is right now--just as my progressed Venus is conjunct my natal Sun right now and in 6 years it will be my converse progressed Sun conjunct my natal Venus, there are also many, many repeating patterns in our synastry and composite charts, which I find fascinating when we consider the rule of 3 in astrology which is sometimes spoken of; I can see patterns repeating and aspects being mirrored from natal-composite synastry to regular synastry to draconic etc. etc., many things repeating and reinforcing certain themes).

This is all intended to give some perspective when it comes to predictive relationship astrology: although it's not the most useful example as we will have to wait 6 years to see what actually happens! But it's exciting for me and all of these predictive tools combine to form a very compelling and extremely focused time-line.

Yes, I sometimes check the dynamic report for this. Solar arcs are interesting, and predictable. However, they need to be very close in orb, 30 minutes applying and separating (spanning a whole year), and for midpoints I actually use an orb of 5 minutes approximately, as this hones it down to the month.

While solar arcs give a good background - sometimes, unless there is nothing happening- the specific timers are being provided by expecially the progressed Moon (Very fast - 1 degree per month approximately), but I also take very exact other progressed aspects into consideration (and keeping a suspicious eye on the building pMars conjunct n Venus in my chart, which has just started getting under one degree applying).

But then on top of it I think we need some major transits to spark something into action.

Interestingly when Mr Sag was starting acting so strange towards me, it coincided with two exact solar arcs for him.

sa Venus conjunct n SN (and Priapus )
sa Neptune conjunct n Venus

He doesn`t have any real important solar arcs nowadays, except I remember there was one peaking in june 2016, so this month, but i think it was involving an asteroid. Let me check

Yeah right

sa Neptune opposite n Juno on 24th june

And some minor ones - I never know what emphasis to put on the semisquare and sesisquare but he is having

sa Moon semisquare n Neptune: february 16

sa Mercury sesisquare n Node: april 16
(might be the birth of his second son)
sa Node semisquare n Uranus: april 16

sa MC semisquare n Neptune: may 16 (30th)

sa Neptune opposite n Juno: june 16

sa ASC sesisquare n BML: august 16
(just a week after the "Get together" - so once again a BML-thing just coinciding with when he crosses path with me? )

WEll for me, I remember having had quite a toughie solar arc picture

the nice one having taken place in march 15 with

sa Venus conjunct n Moon

but well seems solar arcs "broke" and stopped working or a time then.

following this:

sa Node conjunct AVX and Sun/Moon-mp july 15

sa Neptune conjunct AVX and Sun/Moon-mp september/october 15

sa Mars opposite Saturn december 15

sa Node semisquare ASC january 16
- well now THAT was interesting, as it peaked on the exact same day as Mr Sag responded to a totally innocent post of mine by posting this:

[/URL]
STill no clue why he did that, but I stopped trying to overanalyze and just took it as a snapshot of his momentary mood back then. lol

other solar arc pictures operating now for me

sa Pluto semisquare n Venus march/april

sa Neptune semisquare n ASC april 16

sa MC square n Moon may 16

But that`s pretty much it, the next one after that is

sa ASC semisquare Mars may 17
sa Venus sesisquare MC january 18
sa ASC conjunct Avx and Sun/Moon-mp august 18

So let`s continue talking in about 2 years.

lol my converse sa Moon is going to be exactly square my n MC on the exact day of the "Get together" (12th august).

(btw coinciding with my lunar return ASC falling onto my natal MC, with his name conjunct the ASC, plus his Solar Return Moon is conjunct my natal IC exactly)

well he is not going to have anything that important only

conv sa Jupiter semisquare n BML (10 august)
conv sa Neptune semisquare n MC (13 august)

Well the closest midpoint pictures for ME that month, respective my solar arcs to my natal midpoints:

sa BML opposite Pluto/MC 0°07a

sa Mercury square Neptune/MC 0°00 - not too promising then

sa Mercury square Node/MC 0°06 a

sa Sun conjunct Venus/jupiter 0°19 a
(would be in play about 3-4 months later, but I thought it looked to nice to not mention it )

sa MC conjunct Sun/Pluto 0°08a

conv sa MC square Venus/Pluto 0°07a
conv ASC = Mercury/BML (0°06a)

his midpoints then

sa Uranus = Jupiter/Pluto 0°02a

sa Mercury= Jupiter/Uranus 0°03a

sa DESC conjunct Mercury/Saturn 0°01 a

sa Saturn conjunct Sun/Mars 0°01 s

sa Sun = Jupiter/MC 0°03 s
sa Sun = Neptune/BML 0°03s
sa Sun= Moon/Jupiter 0°06a

sa Venus conjunct Sun/Chiron 0°01a

conv ASC = Venus/Mars 0°03a
(interestingly Tr Sun will be on his conv DESC, and well his conv ASC is slowly moving to conjunct my natal Moon, but still a bit over 1 degree off it)

conv Venus conjunct Mercury/MC 0°04 s
conv Venus opp. Chiron/Juno 0°10a
