Topic: Why can neither of us move past this?

To be clear, I'm not sure I WANT to. I treasure the feelings we share and the pure, unadulterated love we have for each other.We met a few years ago and spent about 9 months hanging out. Long nights of cuddling watching movies, amazingly effortless conversation and a few of the sweetest good night kisses I've ever been given. Then he moved. A thousand miles away. When he came to say his goodbyes we both cried and promised to keep in touch. Which happened for a while, but communications waned with how busy we both were. He has never been far from my thoughts though, and apparently the same goes for him with me. We have never been single at the same time, until now. I haven't told him yet that my husband and I split up. But he was running through my thoughts tonight and then bam, he messged me. Anyway, please, have a look.

Well that is one reason, but astrologically the composite Uranus is conjunct the vertex. This gives a direct psychic, /astral connection. Didn't you have vivid dreams when you were together? IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, todd, I don't remember my dreams, and haven't since I started smoking cigarettes. It's one thing that makes me want to stop. I do remember the way I feel when I wake up, though! And during the time we spent together I always woke up thinking of him. I always interpreted that feeling, no matter what it was, to relate to what I had been dreaming. Even if I can't remember. So I assume if I awoke thinking of him I had been dreaming of him. IP: Logged |

With Venus /Jupiter /amore conjunct there is a strong love between you. Jupiter can add the feeling of marriage .the psyche midpoints with another, Venus and Jupiter fall with in the mercury /sun conjunction which adds a idealistic romanticism to your already strong affection for each other. Within the sun/mercury conjunction ,the wonderful loving conversations you mentioned are symbolized. With Pluto opposed to the Venus, Jupiter, amore stellium, the curse of Pluto, which usually shows that personal ambitions trump the relationship, seems to have played out, as I assume he moved for work.

With Eros conjunct the moon and the node, you were extremely in tune, especially in sexual matters. With destiny on the descendant ,it was easy to feel this would continue.
Uranus conjunct Saturn is very difficult as it shows uncertainty and hesitation towards committing. so did you mention your single or does he have someone else? IP: Logged |

The node will begin trining the Jupiter, Venus, sorry stelliun towards the end of the month and the South node will conjunct karma also as the time passes .good transits to get together if he is available..

Thank you so much for your insights todd!Im curious what you think of the Moon/Psyche/Eros synastry between us. And I have actually always been the unavailable one. He is single and almost always is except for a few short periods in our time. I have been taken since the night we met. That first evening we had another stranger believing that we were long time best friends because of the way we acted with each other. It's been our private "joke" since, that we've always been best friends. And with how easy it is to love him it certainly feels like he's a best friend. IP: Logged |

Oh and yes, you were right about him moving for work. The job offer that broke my heart because I wasn't his and he wasn't mine. I wanted to beg him not to go, but it would have been terribly selfish of me. So I supported him and watched him drive away until he was out of sight. IP: Logged |

Could Saturn being so close to that conjunction be another reason for the lack of dreams? A blockage or a hindrance? But I've also read that DSC ruler conj Vertex is a sign of marriage and Saturn in that notion could mean devotion and longevity. Just thoughts  IP: Logged |

yeah Saturn could be hindering the dreams. but the vertex is so magically that it might overwhelm the Saturn obstruction. remember satru used to rule Aquarius. before Uranus satrun was a occult symbols, its rings ruled the portl to the higher planes beyond it's orbit, the "ring pass not pass". so with the vertex Saturn could be accessing other planes. but you point is well taken
hmmm vertex 7th a sign of marriage. haven't heard that. vertex and the descendant gives a very "unworldly" connection in a composite but I haven't seen it associated with marriage in composites
