In the composite chart it says Mercury conjunct moon. But I'm only using my birth time since I don't know the other persons real birth time. But would this aspect be accurate in our composite without having the other persons birth time?IP: Logged |

Depends on the orb. if it is exact, using a noon time for the person with unknown birthtime, the orb will be 6 degrees in the worst case. If howeve the conjunction is already 8 degrees, then it might be completely out of orb. If using noon for unknown birthtime, and having another ones exact birthtime, the variation for the Moon won`t be more than 6 degrees. IP: Logged |

When I use noon time for the persons birth time I don't know and use my real birth time. It says that the Moon/Mercury conjunction is 2°02a in the composite chart. quote: Originally posted by Ceridwen: Depends on the orb. if it is exact, using a noon time for the person with unknown birthtime, the orb will be 6 degrees in the worst case. It means that even if they were born at a different time that day, in most cases (with most birthtimes) the conjunction will still be there. IP: Logged |

Is this aspect in a composite chart good for communication? quote: Originally posted by Ceridwen: It means that even if they were born at a different time that day, in most cases (with most birthtimes) the conjunction will still be there.

in a composite chart the possible planetary movements are 1/2 of the actual daily movement because midpoints are derived from division by 2.if both times are unknown and noon is used for both then for example with the moon the daily movement in this composite is 6 degrees. since noon is used the orb for the moon would be +/- 3 degrees. if one time is know and the other unknown time is place at noon, the maximum movement would be 3 degrees so the moon's orb would be +/- 1.5 degrees. with one unknown time,of course the angles can not be determind. todd IP: Logged |

Thanks for your input what do you think about a Moon/Mercury conjunction in a composite chart? quote: Originally posted by todd: in a composite chart the possible planetary movements are 1/2 of the actual daily movement because midpoints are derived from division by 2.if both times are unknown and noon is used for both then for example with the moon the daily movement in this composite is 6 degrees. since noon is used the orb for the moon would be +/- 3 degrees. if one time is know and the other unknown time is place at noon, the maximum movement would be 3 degrees so the moon's orb would be +/- 1.5 degrees. with one unknown time,of course the angles can not be determind. todd
