So..I dont know what happened in a past life, but my natal Venus is in the skipped step of a giant Grand Cross in my Aries man natal chart, and my Libra Venus is fighting the battle all alone. In his natal, He has a tight Sun - Saturn opposition which squares his Nodal axis and his Vertex axis ( Nodes and Vertex axis conjunct at 1 degree in his chart). So my lovely 8th house Venus , my free of frictions Libra Venus, lands like a carefree butterfly on top of his Saturn, opposes his Sun, and squares his Nodal and Vertex axis. All that at a 0 and 1 degree in orb. There is no help from another of my planets. My Moon trines my Venus but it's at a wide 5 degree orb, weak, so basically my Venus is all alone there on the battleground in the Sun-Saturn-Vertex-Node vortex of his. More over, his Saturn ( which conjuncts my Venus) is the ruler of his South Node and is the ruler of his 7th house and 5th house.
My Venus rules my 8th house. My Venus is gonna be totally chewed up here, can you see that... IP: Logged |

forgot to say that by progression, my prog Sun is arriving to conjunct my Venus next year, so it will join forces. IP: Logged |

aww thanks for the heart :-)yes, TR Uranus passed thru his Sun and my Venus and the rest. It was the most exciting time! Love was at it's highest. TR Pluto is now ravaging all that I mentioned above, even thou after it went retro, it moved 2 degrees away from it. Power games nonstop. IP: Logged |

Is it possible that the very purity of your Venus gives it the strength to cope? It's dignified in Libra and in tyne with your emotional self. It isn't exactly a light weight either in your natal 8th house, that gives it a lot of depth and oomph and the ability to go deep, to heal, to prioritize deep loyalty merging and passion...IP: Logged |

I can definitely see your challenge too. I also have an underaspected Venus, some would say it is peregrine... it squares my Moon by 8 degrees though. Anyway I personally tend to choose relationships where my Venus is very lightly touched, but interestingly my Venus generally completes patterns in the composite, such as a star of David in my current thing, but that's harmonious so it's easier for me... errr.. *hugs,*Can we see the charts? Thanks, GBhe, just like you, has his Sun ( Aries) and his Mercury in his 8th house. How does that feel to have an 8th house Sun? His 8th house Sun and my 8th house Venus clicks well.

That's some nice synastry  How does it feel to be 8th house? Privileged. Frustrating. Sometimes overwhelming. Sometimes even the universe itself shares it's secrets with you because she has nobody else to talk to. Nobody else takes the time to listen, to understand, to look beyond the tip of their nose. Sometimes you wonder why it's all happening to you and wonder who you'll be next, or if you'll forget who you were before you went through the storm.
