Topic: Composite Chart with my Mom - Significant Pattern Completion?

I've always thought my mom and I had a special kind of bond however volatile our relationship has been over the years. Now that I am older I am beginning to appreciate my relationship with her. She battles demons of her own stemming from her upbringing and though I didn't understand it when I was younger, now I see how much she suffers and so I am very quick to defend her and feel very protective of her when her moods get the best of her and other people have negative things to say. Perhaps I just blindly defend her but I feel this strong underlying sensitivity that no one really seems to understand. She also seems incredibly perceptive of what I am going through - almost like she can sense my moods too. She always seems to ask the right questions on the phone when we speak. It goes beyond the "mother knows best" into "psychic" territory sometimes. She just KNOWS and it's weird. She can still frustrate me to no end and we can argue about things but it is usually swept under the rug and forgotten in no time - a high level of forgiveness. She even said she just "knew" when I was conceived - like she felt I was destined to come into her life at that time. I was surprised to see how striking our composite is, but oddly...an unaspected moon...though it forms the apex of a Yod. Thoughts?  IP: Logged |

Amazing chart and stories!!Astrodienst says a planet receiving a quicunx is aspected, so I would count the apex of a yod as doubly aspected. It's highlighted either way. The geometry of the whole chart is stunning, with that yod bisecting the Mystic Rectangle.  And I love the Jupiter-Venus-Sun conjunction! Inspiring to see such a lovely chart and hear how it plays out in real life. Thanks  IP: Logged |

ye really a amazing chat which fits exactly the characteristic you mentioned....except for one thing..
the Saturn/Neptune/juno stellium is square to the node. this makes me wonder about your father's influence on the relationship with your mother. even though the mystic rectangle is very strong, the node square to me would interject a element of confusion or deception concerning your father's influence. with juno included ,it could be that his entire side of the family is estranged .
or it could show you father was not a element in your upbring.opposed to he sun/venus/Jupiter/mercury stellium, it just seems to be a sore point in the chart as a whole because of the nodal axis energizing this strong opposition. todd IP: Logged |

Hmm...could you explain a little more? My parents are still married after 30+ years, although their relationship has never been easy (due to my mother's own issues causing tempers to flare). My mom stayed at home with us, and my dad worked a normal Monday-Friday job so while he was definitely a strong, authoritative figure in my house, he wasn't around AS much as my mom was. In general, I really don't have anything negative to say about my dad other than he was maybe a little too passive with certain things (but if you were bad, he definitely put his foot down!). His family isn't estranged per se but we are closer with my mom's side, only because they live closer and we see them more often. My mom has always had this strange "beef" with my dad's side of the family though... Also, what points to my sensitivity towards her and also the "psychic" feeling sometimes? I want to learn

Thanks for the feedback.
The psychic connection is from the mercury/node square. With mercury conjunct the node, the psychic affect is more pronounced. with the square the affect is sometimes just written off as similarity in lines of thought or insightful deductive reasoning.
