So my Sun and Moon are opposites, meaning the midpoint is square to each.In synastry, if someone's personal planet (say Venus) is on that midpoint, therefore squaring both my sun and moon, how does this work? Is it to be interpreted as a square to each luminary, or does it have a different impact because it is hitting my midpoint? My sun is Cancer, moon Cap, and this person's Venus is Libra. My best friend has her sun on my sun/moon midpoint, and she is a great teacher, friend, and healer to me. We often refer to each other as our therapists. But I have never experienced venus in this spot. Any help is appreciated! IP: Logged |

The midpoint activation is very significant. Interpret it both ways. It is square both... and it is on your Sun/Moon midpoint. My Venus is exactly on my daughter's father's Sun/Moon midpoint. He has the square between Sun and Moon, in Sag and Virgo respectively. So he's at odds with himself. I help resolve the tension but I also bring it to the fore. Can't say more right now, gotta go. But there's a lot to say. IP: Logged |

This is interesting! My Venus was at the Sun/Moon midpoint with my ex, who also had Sun opposite Moon. In addition he had his NN at that point too, so his NN was conj my Venus - in fact we had a Venus/NN DW. Yes, he was very conflicted between mind and emotions and chose to deny the latter. I, perhaps, helped him come close to trying to integrate the two but it didn't last long. IP: Logged |

Hmmm, interesting. I struggle with my mind versus emotion, but usually go with emotion. But my mars is trine my moon, so I think that helps my actions be emotionally based. Also, my sun is in Cancer, which is moon ruled, while my moon is Cap, so earth. Early in life I was pretty uncomfortable in my own skin, but at this point I feel very comfortable and confident following what I "feel" I should do.

Good analysis why you chose to go with your emotions instead of becoming Spock like. In the ex's case his Moon is in Aqua which is a detached, analytical Moon which explains his choice. Or the fact that it is conjunct Chiron which may refer to a back story I too have an aqua Moon, but I follow my heart. And mine squares Saturn, ew! IP: Logged | |
