Too many threads by me today. I always read about how the composite influencing or aspecting an individual contributes to the impact the relationship has on them. Fair enough, but -- *how*, exactly can we define that effect? Let's say Composite planet X triggers person A's planet Y. How do they operate? Do they bring focus to that "planet X" area of the composite or do they bring focus to the natal "planet Y"? Or both? Or, will person A experience the "planet X" aspect of the relationship in a "planet Y" manner? ^ Geez that's awful to read. Q: Let's say we have composite moon sitting on one of the involved parties' Sun:: Can you give me a for-instance to say how each would influence the other? Also --- How do the different aspects bring their energies? Conjunctions, Oppositions, Squares mainly - don't know if we count soft aspects to composites (do we?). Is it like -- Conjunctions cause a feeling of familiarity or "oneness" with that aspect of the relationship(?) Oppositions cause a struggle which eventually has to resolve whereas a square would point to an ongoing struggle to "change" that aspect of the relationship? Or does it change the natal itself too in the process..? .. IP: Logged |

I see it as the conjunctions bring the energy to the individual whose natal is hit, and it expresses by way of that point. IP: Logged |

Hmm... So, with say, Composite Moon or Venus on Natal Sun versus Composite Mars on Natal Sun versus Composite Planet on "yin" receptive planet, such as Moon^ Could you explain those to me, please? IP: Logged |

With either one of the two instances you have described above, it (the relationship) will serve as a growth in their life. It's a necessary relationship in this lifetime to project those planetary energies forward in growth mode. I believe that is what happens when a comp planet hits our natals. It is an energy that provokes growth and is needed. Doesn't mean it is sustainable always, but that is what we get from it. I hope this helped. IP: Logged |

Thanks, llewsacm..! Promotes growth, true.. I could see how that would a result of being pulled in that direction..

I think we can also count with Parallels/Contra-Parallels as long as it's within 1º.IP: Logged |

I see natal aspects conjuncting planets or angles to the composite as a way that we are "contributing our planets energy/personality to that planet that is being ASPECTED in the composite" that's how I see it. Growth endusing I suppose? But honestly I think it's what is being touched in ourselves deeply when a comp planet or angle is making a conversation with our own natal planet/angle. I certainly count oppositions and squares and quincunxs just as important but I feel the act itself may play out a bit differently then the conjunction. ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |
