As most of us know, the 5th house overlays deal with more romantic natures. That fun, lighthearted kind of energy. Sure there's sexual attraction, but I think as a whole, it tends to lean more towards the FUN and rather playful aspect of the relationship.The 8th House signals deep intimacy, and is of a very sexual nature. Intense, primal passion is the energy that is felt when this house is at play in synastry. It's very emotional and the sexual attraction runs very high. So, what exactly is the energy that the 12th house gives off? The one description that tends to come up with this overlay is a "psychic connection". What exactly does that entail? I know the 12th house deals with the subconscious stuff, things hidden below the surface, etc. It's the DEEPEST part of ourselves, deeper than the 8th house energy. So, in a House Overlay, what connection is usually felt? What particular emotion(s) tend to come out? Does it take more of a fun, affectionate romantic energy, or a deep sexual and intimate energy? Or is it something entirely different? I know it's just one "aspect" of synastry, but I find the 12th house interesting. Just to use as a tool to make it easier to give examples, let's use VENUS as the planet for the house overlays. IP: Logged |

In my experience it is something else. We have both 8th house and 12th house overlays. It takes a bit of time for me to be able to see the differences. Often I feel that there's so much that I want to talk about, yet can't find the words that can correctly and sufficiently describe it. It's hazy, yet it is very clear. We can't see, but can feel each other just fine. He puts it in a better way "I feel you flowing into me". IP: Logged | |
