My 5th ruler is the Moon. It's only barely touched in all of my synastries which means to me that the 5th is not so terribly important to me. It's an empty house in my chart anyway.However, the rulers of my 7th and my 8th are usually highly active, in fact - if they are not affected by the other party, nothing comes out of the contact. Jupiter (stationary in Sag 5H). Beloved 1st wife is a Sag (Sun-Eros conj Venus in my 4H.) Her Cap Mercury conj my Jupiter, and her Libra Saturn square my Jupiter. My Pluto-Saturn-Mars stellium in her Leo 5H. Her Sag Sun trine my Leo Pluto, and oppose my Gemini Venus, and trine my Aries Mercury, and sextile my Libra Neptune! quote:

I think the 5H is more for playful dating (seeing a person for a few and then moving onto somebody else).Deep love and intimacy should be the 8th house. Just my opinion  IP: Logged |

Yes but the 5th house is the romantic love and that feeling of falling deeply in love while the 8th is joint finances and yes intimacy, knowing the other person fully with the good and the bad and forming a deep bond based on that, in other words the 8th is more heavy and serious but yes it leads to bonds that are harder to break but the 5th is that high of being deeply in love, the romantic love part that is a stage of the relationship and for it to survive has to evolve into the heavy stuff that includes the dark stuff and real intimacy bc you know all of the person and accept them and stick with them with their psychological baggage. The 5th house feels damn good but the 8th is heavier and it is the whole package, is the house that says bc we have been through so much together I am sticking it out, bc we have all these financial responsibilities together I can't just walk away like that bc we depend on each other ECT, bc I know you with all the dark stuff and you know me with all my dark stuff but you still stay I stay too ect... To me the 8th is the hard heavy stuff that also binds you and makes your bond unbreakable and the 5th is that I am head over hills for you but we haven't survived hard stuff yet and I don't know you truly all the way but am so infatuated with you and you meet my ideal of romantic love and my god this feels so good, I feel so damn good around you and the sex, can we just have sex ?? ect.. lol

My boyfriend and I have our 5th house rulers aspecting. His 5th house ruler is Venus and mine is Mars. We have a tight trine aspect between my Mars in Aries and his Venus in Leo. I wouldn't say my Mars is highly activated. For us 7th house is more emphasized than 5th house. Our name asteroids are in 7th house in our composite along with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Juno.IP: Logged |

Venus is the ruler of my 5th House. But my moon is also there, and moon is the ruler of my descendant. I'm more often frequently attracted to people that make good contacts to my moon/ IC. IP: Logged |

Mercury is the ruler of my 5th house.THIS IS SO INTERESTING because I adore Aquarius men and Virgo men  . Virgo in 5th house. Mercury in Aquarius 10th house square Pluto in 7th house. I just realised that. The ruler of my 5th house is aspecting the ruler of my 7th house and I have it in 7th house.
It has to mean something! 
I hope I explained because I got confused with the 7th house lol. 7th house in Scorpio, the ruler: Pluto in 7th house, Pluto square Mercury the ruler of 5th house. I always attract Scorpio: Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, whatever... IP: Logged |

I've just come to realise how much my 5R has kinda effed me over, in many, many ways. Paradoxically, that hasn't really been a bad thing -- just ... interesting.Case in point, it's my 1H SATURN conjunct my ALMA-JUNO. And ... for those who REALLY know me here, that's a pretty major 'DUH!' moment.  Highly activated, though? Not so much. It's more if SOMEONE happens to fit the role that it indicates, then stuff might get interesting. Especially since that 'role' happens to often be literal! IP: Logged |

Like my Ex his Mars conjuncts my 5th house ruler and trines my Venus which is my 7th house ruler! and yes I was madly in love, his AC also conjuncts my 8th house ruler!With my husband his venus which is his chart ruler trines my 5H ruler and conjuncts my 7H ruler Venus. He does meet an ideal but I never experienced that feeling of falling deeply in love although I loved him right away. His eros conjuncts my saturn and in composite we have valentine conjunct saturn, I feel our love is very grounded and sober without the high but solid and strong. With Mr.Aqua who I did fall for although not all the way bc of the circumstances but I was definitely in the edge there and for been in the edge it felt very strongly; his Venus conjuncts my 5H ruler, I remember thinking like WOW he makes me feel things I never thought I could feel. ADD: However my 5H ruler is in the midpoint of my SUN and MOON and squaring my Sun and MOON and its also my strongest planet in my chart so perhaps the 5H ruler is in my case a sensitive point in my chart so when someone conjuncts it with an important planet like venus or mars is like BAM Fireworks all over. Hypatia,  agree to your interpreation of 5th vs. 8th. For me, yes, 5th house cusp in Taurus, Venus in Capricorn in 1st house, square Pluto. activation of my venus is a MUST, or you probably will not even appear on my radar. IP: Logged |

My 5th ruler is Mars (Aries). I got Mars at the end of house 5th (Taurus) Got Mars conjunct Saturn in Taurus With my SO, this conjunction opposite my SO Sun. With a "virtual ex" this conjunction opposited his Asc. Note: my SO Sun and Virtual ex Asc are conjunt by less than 30" degrees. My SO Asc it's in Taurus late degrees, and my virtual ex Sun is in Taurus late degrees (conjunct 4°) My SO it's Scorpio sun and his Asc is Taurus
The other guy it's Taurus sun and his Asc is Scorpio. IP: Logged |
