Well, my youngest brother`s son is just 2 months old; I also have another brother who has the Down syndrome, and who is the only one not being totally all over the baby; he is fascinated with being an uncle but also overwhelmed with the little one, because he does`t understand why he is crying all the time and just unused to babies in general; he is totally in awe of his nephew but also very careful, which is why he keeps his distance a little.

Nevertherless the little one seems to be utterly fascinated by my middle brother as well, and being on my mom`s arm yesterday he was focusing on my brother all the time and talking to him. lol He starts trying to form words or rather producing sounds, but the way he was "talking" to my middle brother, and my middle brother just looking back at the baby, it looked as if my nephew "recognized" my middle brother from somewhere and as if he wanted to "catch up on his news". It was cute and of course heis just 2 months old, so not that much to catch up on. lol But the connection between these two were quite evident.

So I had a look at their synastry and wanted to share this one.
My brother is in the inner ring, my nephew in the outer one.

BTW both, my other brother (father of the baby) and me, have something conjunct my middle brother`s Venus; in my case my Ceres-Jupiter-falls there, and my brother`s Sun falls there.
So it`s cute to see that my nephew also has something falling onto my middle brother`s Venus. I never know exactly who is really protecting/ nurturing whom, and at least in a spiritual sense I think it`s actually my middle brother who is bringing a lot of nurturing into our family, or eliciting these tendencies out of each and everyone one of the family members, just because of the need for it (though I have seen families breaking apart over a child with Down syndrome, those who donīt, seem to grow really close to each other. It seems to be an either-or-situation; and well my nephew of course will be growing up with that distinct family vibration)

Of course I couldnīt help but notice my nephew`s Sun falling right onto my brother`s saturn-DESC-conjunction, and what made me smile was the fact they apparently have an Angel-Angel-conjunction, which means that my nephew was born at one of my brother`s "Angel-Returns". lol

(it falls onto my IC-Alma-Aura-Gaea-conjunction btw).

My nephew also has Sun on the Neptune/Pluto-mp (1°03) - I wouldn`t be surprised if he turns out to be very sensitive to developments of the collective, the Zeitgeist.

Okay, your nephew's sun sits on his desc. Normally a great thing to have but your brother's sun, which rules his 7th, is hit hard by node and chiron. Like he will always feel pain

Yes, Enneline,
in a way he always will. Becuase he knows that he`ll always be dependent on others to care for him. Having the Down syndrome and identifying himself with being "different" than others, has always been hard for him.

though his sun is out of range of being square to the nodal axis.

Anyway my nephews Uranus squares his Sun, which means that during this time my brother has Tr Uranus square his Sun and yes, the baby is a complete change for our family, a positive one, but my brother needs a lot of time to accept and adapt to change.

That exact Vertex-node conjunction seems a little fated.
