I was of course sad but basically just accepted it and decided I wasn't going to let my ego dictate the situation or push him away completely if that's what he wanted and was comfortable with at this point. That was 2 months ago and we've kept in touch since then, if not more so than before I went to visit.

Soooo now idk what exactly got him to change his mind but he asked me if I'd be willing to move there and live with him.. I'm kind of in shock, it's what I've wanted for so long but it always seemed impossible. And practically speaking.. we live in different states (although not far apart) but I just moved about 6 months ago. So it'll be yet another major change and idk how I feel about that

But... T Uranus is square both our suns (opposite comoposite Sun-Mercury-Venus).. I could list a lot of other transits/progressions going on right now but kind of don't know how to narrow it down even. So here's the synastry (I know it's not great but what can I do it's been years and I could never let it go..). Any questions feel free to ask. Not sure what I'm hoping to get out of this thread exactly just needed to talk about it I guess lol

Wow! This is a pretty good synastry - how come you say it's not great? I don't know if every synastry chart can be defined as "Good" or "great"..it depends on what the native chart holder needs..and if you can somewhat fulfill it...but what do I know? I'm only a newbie :P

You guys have Saturn/Sun double whammy aspects..no wonder it's hard to let go. Top that with some Chiron and also that venus/NN mannnn, I would feel the same way too.

This cancer guy sounds like he's been very hurt (sorry I don't quite remember your previous posts but I'm basing this on my take of what you're telling me now) and he must have had some very traumatic experience where he gave his all and got completely used and driven down to the ground. So now he's not willing to lay everything on the table for someone. It's not a comment on you as a person - you are great the way you are, that's why he chose to keep you around. It's more a comment on him. At the end of the day for you is: Can you deal with his baggage? All of it. Even if he cannot reciprocate the way you'd like him to. Also compare what you both value. Are there common grounds? - Just some food for thought.

I know you would want to move in with him. That's your emotional side speaking. If I may play devil's advocate, I think you should think about the realistic facts of this person and the realistic facts of moving before you choose to do so. And/If you choose to move, you know very well what you're going to have to deal with, no different expectations/resentments or "shoulda, woulda, coulda" -- and if it's fine by you then go for it.

I think you guys are pretty compatible, you share similar aspects with personal planets, you share the same elements with merc, venus, moon and mars. Those are very personal planets and that lays a good foundation for compatibility.

The flip side is that you are probably pretty stern in your relationships and your dealings in life. He is a bit more moody/broody/emotional and perhaps unruly from time to time. This might cause you to feel irritated or frustrated. I could be wrong..I am sure you guys have fun and can keep things light hearted...but when serious life situations hit, is it the same? I think you guys would go about it/react to it differently.

I will take a more in-depth look later.

I don't have much to say, 'don't want to influence you either way, I'm just happy for you that you got this offer, when you've been wanting it so long.

The transits are significant but I think one thing astrologers have to be careful about is diminishing the meaning of what happens because of transits. Like "Oh it was just a transit, I won't act on it."

If a transiting Sun-Uranus opposition is what it took to get him to see the light, so be it.

However I also understand why you would be cautious. It is a strange situation, and it'll be harder for you, because you have to move.

Very true, I've had to take somewhat of a step back from astrology for that reason.. But yeah Uranus has definitely thrown some curveballs. I hadn't even looked at our composite for a long time (it's honestly pretty terrible) but our composite Mercury is 17 Libra and Venus is 16 Aries so Pluto is probably a factor too.. The progressed composite moon is about to change signs and conjunct the NN in 4th house Can't make this stuff up..
