In the composite my name asteroid is exactly conjunct the name asteroid of a guy I just started seeing.

Does anybody use them in composite? Are they valid?

Conjunct MC (if times are correct)
Square Sun 1 degree
Square Uranus 4 degrees
Square Chiron 5 degrees
Quintile Moon
Trine Neptune 2 degrees
Sextile Pluto exact
Opposite Juno 5 degrees
7 degrees away from the NN

How do they work?

Your orbs are too large. Usually 2-3 degrees.
It is difficult to see the influence in trine and sextile aspects. I tend to focus on conjunction, opposition and squares.
Named asteroids are interesting as you can see the dynamics with others without referring to a lot of natals.

I agree, works even in transits.

When P and me met, my transiting name asteroid was conjunct my name in his chart (on his n Eros and p Psyche and my p Psyche as well), exactly square his transiting name asteroid, which fell onto my n DESC - and since our names are opposite in his n chart his transiting name was also conjunct the midpoint.

my transiting name was actually applying to conjunct the midpoint of our two names in MY natal chart, though at that point too wide.

I know that is not a composite, but I found it pretty intersting, that when we first met he apparently had a Ceri-Return. lol

Yeah 1 degree of any symbols shows that dynamic affects the natives destiny. The greater the exactitude of the aspect, the stronger the forces of destiny are.
