Just recently, I have come to a terrible liking with a guy I've liked... and I've liked him for a little bit over a year...

Mind you that I've NEVER liked someone for this long.

Some important placements:

My moon opposition his sun.
His sun in my 7th house.
We have trine moons.
My Mars is square his venus.
His Sun is sextile my Venus.
His Venus and Mars are Conjunct my south node.

With my Sag, Gemini, and overall airy dominance, I know that I typically don't like someone for this long! Could it be the South Node? Unfortunately, we no longer have contact with each other, and he attends a university that is from from me. I promise, I have never had as deep feelings for someone as I do this person. What could it be?

Could be. I was terribly crazy over a man whose VENUS/MARS and EROS/PSYCHE were both conjunct my SNODE. For a very, very long time.

I heard that SN connections are karmic and "teach lessons." Just recently, I found out he had a girlfriend and I balled my eyes out. I was devastated. But for some reason, I'm still not over him. Is there a possible lesson that should be learned?

I heard SN connections are karmic and are supposed to 'teach a lesson.' Not too long ago, I found out that he was in a relationship and I balled my eyes out. I was devastated. For some reason though, I can't get over this person, and this is my first time encountering such a thing. Could this be my lesson?

Bawled, unless you used a melon baller. In which case -- OUCH!

Sorry. I'm going through my own thing, and everything that might help me to laugh has been worth its weight in gold.

Yes, there is a lesson. There always is. Sometimes, it's a precursor to another relationship. At others, it teaches us to let go, or we're resolving something that was left undone.

Only you know what that lesson might be, and how it can best be resolved.
