I haven't been in LL for a while because I've been so busy, although I still lurk here from time to time.

Funny story. I'm now dating a Leo with Venus in Gemini, a combination I STRONGLY sworn to avoid ever since I learned astrology. And when we first dated, he was polyamorous while I really wasn't interested, but I gave him a shot. Heh, talk about the stereotypical Venus in Gemini Anyway, most of his ex-girlfriends were from other cities and I was the only one he dated in the same city he lived in. After two months of being together, he noticed himself changing. He didn't like that and we broke up because he found himself wanting to go back to the way he was in college--just hooking up with random girls and partying every weekend. We were still friends and found ourselves getting closer than we were dating. 3 weeks passed and he asked me out again because I had bought him a French learning kit for his birthday since he's been wanting to learn French for a while. He said I was thoughtful and I actually listened unlike other girls. So there we go, he started being monogamous with me.

Sometimes though, I feel like such a fail in this relationship. I have never really been in one, just a few flings, I guess. But so far, I'm doing great with everything except being romantic. It bothers me sometimes because I really don't want this to be a problem. Having Venus in Virgo, I'm just not very comfortable with expressing affection. I've already forgotten our past monthsaries, which have quite disappointed him in the past. This month, I just want to try and do my best but I have absolutely no idea how to romance an air sign other than expressing verbal affection. Any ideas?

I vacillate between thinking Gemini Venus is extremely adorable and extremely irritating.
At any rate I have quite a few of them in my life so I must be doing something right.

Virgo Venus also here! But with a Gem moon.
The one thing I've always noticed with these people in my life though is that they all have feminine moons, so they at least appreciate my Virgoness, as I appreciate their Gemininess.
**So I'm curious as to what his moon sign is???

Otherwise, they do tend to like the banter, the interesting conversations. They seem to like the learning aspect of relationships- always evolving together and growing. Being spontaneous works. Surprises, new concepts and ideas. Some of them are more sociable than others.

Their gift is the lightness of love....they remind me of butterflies. They need to learn that people embody variety and are not 'just one thing.' But they need to allow themselves to get close enough to discover that, otherwise they just flitter from one person to the next, becoming infatuated only with the front cover of the book, and never bothering to open the thing...

But yes. Brains, witty conversations, playfulness, etc, etc.
Might also want to look at the aspects and house placement, since they're going to say a lot.

I was born with 10H Gemini Venus, ruler of 10H and 3H, 9H Aries Sun and Mercury. Highly educated (10 years of college, dual degrees), I love the atmosphere of a college campus, including the young female students! I was married to an Ivy League graduate with a good sense of humor, who was professionally successful.

My Venus is attracted to Gemini Mercury and Mars, Taurus and Libra Moon. A conscious girl with sharp mind, emotionally stable and expressing love and affection.

Do look at his Leo Sun and Mercury Sign. Venus House and Houses ruled by Venus (if you can know his birthtime). Leo loves affection, attention, adoration. Gemini Venus wants to be physically and mentally touched (Mercury rules the nerves and hands).

Your Gemini ASC, Leo Sun, 3H Mercury, Libra Mars are all attractive to him.

Well, basically this is his chart:

That 8th house moon of his definitely makes him crave intimacy, yet is contradictory to how his overall personality is. He tends to avoid that unless he gets comfortable enough. He did say the first time we met that it's easy to get naked with someone, but harder to have your soul get naked with another person's soul. Some deep sh** right there.

@SalemsEnd What you said is so true about Venus in Gemini wanting to learn and grow with the person. The first thing he did was want to go to the gym with me everyday to get healthier.

@comdoc His venus is actually conjunct my ascendant, tight degree and his mars on my 1st house. It's pretty good so far, but I feel like I could do better.

Ooo they are tricky..

Impress them with your intellectual side.. that's essential. Understand their inclination to flirt with others but do draw the line somewhere.. With his Cap moon and possessive Leo Sun he'll probably be receptive to that.

Hi,
Im venus in Gemini 1st house, and Gemini rising lady.
I CRAVE mental stimulation and as soon as I don't get it, I feel so bored I couldd just die. I LOVE witty banter, and variety. I am typically attracted to Venus in Virgo or Cap men, not sure why. They seem to be able to keep up with me mentally, and I am am also heavy earth based so that may be why as well.

BUT for me, I jus love witty intelligence and sexy banter.

Having Venus in Virgo, I do like to make things. Or craft. I guess?

But I was thinking of making him a handmade necklace. I made a goldstone necklace for myself a year back and when he saw it, he wanted it, so I gave it to him. He said it was beautiful and wanted it even more when I told him the properties of the stone. Most men would just shrug it off when I talk occult-ish and forget about what I said.

I want to make him a stone necklace with properties that are suitable for him. I've already thought about making it first and then attaching it to a handmade card with a handwritten note. He always loved the little notes I used to put in his lunchbag with kiss marks on them.

I feel like it's so simple but lol I just quit my job and I can't really buy him anything at the moment. He is so typical for a Leo man. He likes his expensive brands and stuff. I'd probably get him something like that for Christmas but not right now.

On top of the plan, I told him we're going on a date to this nice ice cream restaurant in a nearby city.

I hope it's not too simple for a Leo man. I know I'm a Leo too, but I appreciate simple gifts.
