First off- give him space. He will Come around in his own time. I would not really "change" too much of your behavior if it does not feel natural. Capricorns are big on trust and will see right through if it's not genuine.
They open up eventually if they know it's legit. They take time to trust. Not a bad thing. Just be yourself and give him

Thank you, DreamCatcher. I do not necessary feel changing myself is right. If he does not like me for ME, then Oh well. Perhaps a better way to ask for input is --- What does make a Capricorn influenced man happy and secure in a committed relationship?

I can' tell you that they appreciate a woman that stands up for herself, but not too bossy. Also, not a doormat. They need to know they are not the center of your
universe and that you have a life outside of them. They despise clinginess and neediness ( not saying you are just telling you what they don't like). they also don't really want to be pursued. If they want you, eventually, they will come and get you . they like to have control ( they are ruled by Saturn after all). They appreciate a good sense of humor , as they can be too serious at times. Most importantly - they need a partner that respects their need for privacy. Caps always are somewhat private and reserved , even with those they are closest to. Loyalty . If you like or Break their trust in any way, you may not likely get it back, And if you do it will take awhile. I guess the best thing you can do is be as sincere as possible , let your cards on the table , (not too heavy) let him know you are there and then pull back. He has a strong Capricorn influence then. 3 personal planets in angular 7th house + Saturn (planet ruling the sign of Capricorn) being not only dispositor of these planets but also a ruler of his 7th house (cardinal sign Cap on the cusp) + Mars in 10th house (house of Capricorn). But even Saturn is in the earth sign of Taurus. This is what's very interesting. Venus in Cap, Saturn in Taurus. They're each other's dispositors - in mutual reception. I don't think you should change to suit his chart. Maybe just try to understand his predominant elements. He has a lot of Earth. Earth is stability, predictability, determination, quiet confidence, knowing what you want, practicality. His Moon and Venus aspects will tell you more about the type of woman he will seek. But just like Venus and Saturn, Capricorn on the Dsc points to his preference of Earth type of woman as well. Check aspects to Saturn to describe this woman better. Also Moon sign. And if I were you, I would just read the Capricorn Sun woman description in Linda Goodman's Love Signs. Taurus and Virgo as well, just to get a better understanding of what Earth women are about. I can't comment myself because my 7th house is empty but I wonder if this house is more important for people like your guy, who have planets there. My Moon and Mercury are conjunct his Descendant - Moon in his 6H though.
I would like to give some background. We dated in H.S. between 15 and 17 years old. Reconnected after 30 years. Seeing each other since February 2015.

I think the trick to getting any guy is about the same.Be natural, intelligent, fun, genuinely caring, clean, well-dressed, self-respecting, and be sure to tell him everything you sincerely like about him. Focus on the positive! Be creative and cook for him, and be a good cook. Be sexy. Listen to good music and try new things.
