Hi! I'm looking closely at some declination similarities I have with someone and would welcome feedback on this theory. My moon is at the same declination point (parallel) as someone's Uranus. The other individual is HIGHLY uranian in nature. Uranus is in their first house square Saturn in the 10th. This person goes back and forth in wanting to be a free spirit to putting their nose to the grindstone all the time to work...lol. I am curious if my moon calms that to an extent. What is your take on how this would resonate with the Uranus individual? I feel the back and forth with them...do you think my moon triggers anything in them with this connection? IP: Logged |

Hi llewsacm, I always look at declinations as they can give you the missing piece of the puzzle. Moon parallel Uranus could be looked at much like moon conjunct Uranus, although possibly not quite as strong as the conjunction in the regular chart, I find parallels and contra parallels are very marginally toned down, that has been my experience anyway. So moon parallel Uranus, well I wouldn't necessarily find that calming, exiting maybe but calming doesn't spring to mind when you have moon (emotions) touching Uranus a planet which represents independence and the unconventional. The traits which spring to mind with this aspect are instant attraction, a liberating, spontaneous, relationship. If you can be accepting of a relationship/friendship which is perhaps slightly different from the 'norm' and embrace that and give each other a bit of space when you need it this could balance things out. If he has a lot of uraniun influence in his chart anyway that could be what suits him. I don't have a huge amount of Uranus influence but I do have Aquarius on the descendant and therefore I'm quite comfortable with a friendship/relationship where I still have a bit of freedom instead of living in someone's pocket. Perhaps there are other aspects in your synastry which may also help balance the sudden electric bolts that Uranus relationships can bring, either way it would probably never be boring! IP: Logged |

It is never boring...lol. In synastry, his Uranus forms a biquintile aspect with my sun and mercury and is trine my ascendant. No squares or oppositions. I'm really fine with giving space to him. I do feel like I understand his need for freedom very well, so I'm trying to pinpoint if this connection would bring that. I am familiar with the traditional interpretation of moon conjunct Uranus and it doesn't resonate the way it is interpreted on astrology sites. There's an understanding of how he behaves that I am very accepting of. I just thought this might be what would bring that about. Kinda thinking outside the box here that my emotional state is not held ransom due to his erratic nature. Because I get it and in simple terms, live and let live if you know what I mean. Thank you for your insight. I appreciate it very much. IP: Logged | |
