On December 18 Aunt Anomalia started a thread on Similar Tastes in Music. I didn't want to butt in, though my question relates to AA's.

Maybe some of you can offer your thoughts to my question: which Venus will most likely be moved or touched by the following song, and why?

Incidentally, the lead singer, Russell Thompkins, Jr. has Sun in Aires. At various times the group had Libra, Aquarius, Taurus and Gemini members.

I believe in the above number, you are looking at (right to left) Thompkins, Herb Murrell (Taurus), James Dunn (Aquarius) and Airrion Love (Libra).

Hmm, it`s a nice song, the melody at least. Don`t really like the vocals or presentation though. It`s slightly sentimental, but doesn`t quite touch me to be honest.
It`s too smooth for that to happen, maybe I am just in the mood for more "raw emotionalism", don`t know. It IS a nice song though.

Venus in Taurus and I agree there may be generational differences. No kleenex needed for this song. Below are the few songs that have moved me to tears, just from the song alone. All from the same artist.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread now, but I thought it could be interesting to see what our Venus's find moving

Where I got the sad note on that Stylistics song is from the idea that the song writer could have been a poor guy who fell in love with a gold-digger and got brushed off for a Donald Trump. Happens.

Maybe that could be a clue, you focused mainly on the lyrics and they were enough to move you, while I (Taurus Venus) maybe need a very heartfelt performance. I don't know. Haha. Interesting post nevertheless

I have no idea but I found the melody too upbeat. I'm a Sag Venus and a sucker for a good emotional gut-wrenching song.
