Hey Guys

Just wondering if you could have a look at the chart and let me know what you think of this synastry. Any positive highlights or red flags? Its a budding romantic relationship that seems to be going well.

Any comments or observations are most welcome. Thank you.

Are your planets blue or red? Your gender and partner's gender?

You have a ton of significant Pluto--lots of attraction for sure..

Pluto sun DW, Pluto/Moon, Mars/Moon, Mars/Venus. Venus/Venus just to name a few...

Also strong 5th House overlays, romance is in the air!

Thanks for your feedback Scorpiescorp.

It seems there is quite a bit of Pluto in the mix. There are also a few DW - Pluto/sun; moon/Venus; sun/neptune; Mercury/venus; moon/Saturn; sun/Jupiter.

I also think the angle conjunctions - ac to mc are quite important.

Do you have any thoughts about our composite?

Thanks again for all your thoughts.

Amphitrite, I haven't seen a synastry this straightforward in a while. You really have good synastry.

When I look at synastry and want to determine if a man sees the woman as an ideal match, I look at the sign on the Descendant, I look where its ruler went, I look in which sign his Moon and Venus are, the houses they are in and the hard aspects the Dsc ruler, Moon and Venus make to other planets in teh chart. All those signs have to be reflected in the female chart. This could be by having certain planets in her first house, by having the Asc ruler make hard contact to certain planets and by sign conjunctions of the female planets and the Sun to his female planets.

I'll start with his Descendant and its ruler.

His Descendant is in Scorpio = your Venus is in Scorpio, that's great.
His Dsc ruler Pluto is in Libra and your Sun conjuncts his Pluto, this is really good and what's even better, your Sun is your Ascendant ruler, so he must find you really amazing.

His Dsc ruler Pluto is conjunct Mars and square Jupiter. So you would have to reflect some Aries and Sagittarius energy in your chart to match his constellation with the Dsc ruler.
You have your Mars in your first house, so there's Aries energy. Mars is also your 9th house ruler, the 9th is the natural house of Sagittarius/Jupiter, so you have Sagittarius covered too (however not so strongly).

He has Neptune in H7, so you would have to reflect the Piscean energy. You have Moon square Neptune. Good!

He has Moon in Aquarius. You don't have Aqua placements, your Asc ruler isn't in hard aspect with Uranus, neither is Uranus in your first house and your Moon is also not in H11.
But your Uranus is unaspected and stands alone in Scorpio and I believe the unaspected planets are the most obvious energy in a person which others obeserve. So maybe you do come across as Aquarian.

His Moon is square Mercury = you have Moon in Virgo, a sign ruled by Mercury.
Plus your Moon is conjunct his Venus, that is lovely. One of the best interaspects, imo.

He has Venus square Saturn = your Asc ruler (loosely) conjunct your Saturn.

About the interaspects: You two have Mars conjunct Saturn, Moon conjunct Venus, Moon square Venus, Mars opposite Moon.
I mention these hard aspects because they come up almost always in long term relationships.

I also looked at your progressed Composite. In around 2-3 months there will be a Composite New Moon conjunct his natal Descendant, so watch out.
And in around 6-7 months the Moon will conjunct your natal Descendant Uranus.

Amphitrite, your overall synastry potential is 50%: average, neutral. Many ups and downs, easy and challenging periods. A bit of a roller coaster ride(DW Sun/Pluto conjunctions).

Square fixed ASC's (Leo, Taurus) present some rather uncomfortable physical challenges: BULL vs LION. Avoid confined space over long time! (Bull in china shop)

Thank you so much HelixID for your analysis of the synastry. It makes a lot of sense the way you explained it, and definitely makes me feel optimistic about the potential of the relationship. It feels really good so far, and it's nice to hear that astrology agrees. Thank you again, I deeply appreciate your insight.

Just a quick question though regarding the progresssd composite - when the moon does hit his dsc in a few months, do you expect this will be a wholly positive turn of events? I'm not too sure about composite progressions. Thank you again.

Thanks comdoc for your helpful insight. Just wondering when you say 50% - how do you quantitate it like that? Thanks again for your insight.

@Amphitrite
I believe the Composite progressions do mark important events.
But I can only tell you from my experience.
When me and my boyfriend met the first time our progressed Composite Moon was conjunct the Composite Jupiter and the transiting Moon was conjunct transiting Jupiter.
When I decided to quit my job and move to his city the progressed Composite Moon had just entered Aries opposing the Composite 4th house ruler Mercury at 2 degrees Libra.
For better or for worse, I do think something major will happen in 2-3 months in your relationship and then again in 6-7 months. Keep us updated.

That's really interesting, thank you HelixID. I have never really looked at the progressed composite chart before - but I will definitely keep an eye on it now. Thank you again for all your wonderful insight.
