Well I noticed a lot of people are not big lovers of Uranus in synastry, especially hard aspects, but I wonder why Uranus must be that bad. For example, what if two individuals have similar Uranus energies in their Natals, they can understand each other, just like the person with a lot of air and Uranus energy (even if water Sun) will rather understand an Aquarius than maybe an air Sun with a lot of water influence. What do you think? Also, do you find these two Uranus of two individuals similar? Person A:
Uranus conjunct Sun
Uranus sextile Moon
Uranus opposite Mars
Uranus square Jupiter
Uranus conjunct Neptune Person B:
Uranus trine Sun
Uranus trine Moon
Uranus opposite Mars
Uranus opposite Jupiter

def. agree. and those two people actually probably couldnīt get along with anyone who was not Uranian themselves (at least to a degree), and yes, very similiar. IP: Logged |

My husband and I are both quite Uranian (and have some of the aspects you mentioned in our individual charts). However, my Pluto is conjunct his Uranus, and both are conjunct our son's Saturn. So this leaves us all with a bunch of whacked out aspects in our synastries, and it's like a lifelong process to try to figure out how to make these energies cooperate.

Actually I find it interesting, but we have that in our family as well.
My Saturn conjuncts my Mom`s Uranus.
my brother`s little boy has his Saturn EXACT conjunct my brother`s Uranus, and conjuncts his mother`s Uranus by 4 degrees. (my middle brother`s Saturn is "just" semisextile my MOm`s Uranus and my little brother`s Saturn is trine my Dad`s Uranus). For my best friend this comes up as her eldest Son`s Saturn is sextile her and her husband`s Uranus. her daughter`s saturna s no aspects to their Uranus her 3rd son`s Saturn conjunct her Uranus-NN by 4 degrees
her youngest son`s Saturn semisextiles their Uranus.
Seems it does not always come up as conjunction, but in all those cases at least one kids Saturn was conjunct the parents Uranus. Interesting.
(all these people/parents are quite Uranian)

That is good to hear, Ceridwen...since I know that your family is very close, from what you've said here. I think we talked about this in a different thread once, and it's good to know that we're not the only ones, lol. Our household is either exploding with everyone wanting to talk at the same time (hard Mercury aspects), or do things THEIR way (all of us...I'm the only person in the house who's not a Leo or a Taurus, but I have the Leo Asc and Pluto factors, ha)... OR we're exploding with laughing, playing, being silly, etc (in a good way, of course). But we are very close.  IP: Logged |

Uranus just adds unpredictability which is the process of life ANYWAY.I used to cringe at the sight of Uranus anywhere in Astrology until I realized life is already unpredictable and uncertain. Life itself is Uranian! Once we realize this fact, I think we can start to relax a bit as a whole. IP: Logged |

Violets, sounds a lot like our family, too. A lot of talking, occasional some bickering, as it can get too much for my mom. she`s the Scorpio with Virgo Moon-Venus-Mars and ASC in Cancer (though conj. Uranus). And sometimes I guess our communication style is not always easy, esp. if we start getting silly (my Dad has Cappy Mercury, but Sun, Venus, Jupiter in Aqua; my youngest brother has Mercury in Aqua with Moon-Jupiter-Uranus conj. in Sag and Venus-Mars in Aries, and I have Sun-Mercury in Sag and Moon in Aqua, and if the Aqua/Sag-theme takes over, my mom sometimes gets a little annoyed.) But yes we are very close and get along far better than most families I know. IP: Logged |

Ahahaha... Ceridwen, it does sound familiar. I am often annoyed by the noise in the house (so much fire for my Virgo Moon and Pisces Sun, omg), but then I will run around the house with our son, and play silly games, dance to loud music with him (baby doesn't like that so much just yet, so we wait until he's asleep in another room), dance to softer music with the baby, etc.But we're all constantly interrupting each other, and getting all bent out of shape because we're being interrupted while interrupting someone else.   Just don't get my husband and I started on how to remodel the house, or whatever. We are all so unbelievably stubborn (Taurus son included), but after a while we usually come to a reasonable solution, lol. IP: Logged |
