I recently listened to a song by Major Lazer & Ellie Golding called Powerful and immediately thought of the synastry aspect SUN square PLUTO (probably VENUS trine/conjunct/square URANUS too). Since I've seen threads like this in Astrology 2.0, why not create a "Post a song to represent synastry aspects" thread!Do you know of any songs that make you think of synastry aspects? I like the song, thingsgoneby.I have this natally so I've experienced it differently ~ dated many guys whose Plutos squared my sun, and it was hardly ever intense. Someone else made a synastry song thread a while back...that didn't get many responses. Maybe we'll have better luck with this one. I'm thinking  IP: Logged |

Here's an interesting synastry combo I've had once...My Circe/Mars conjunct his Venus
His asteroid Karma conjunct my BML/Sun
His asteroid Karma square my Nodes
His Pluto opposite my Venus
My Mercury conjunct his Sun
My Pluto trine his Sun

Thanks Randall!and @Faith, Glad you like it! Ooh, Sun square Pluto natally - Powerful! (heh, song title pun). How does that affect you? I’m so envious of all the plutonic natal charts. I feel plutonic, I crave plutonic relationships, but my natal chart is so not plutonic. I’m stumped about the Sun square Pluto synastry aspect. I know Jewel Mayberry says it’s this super magnetic transformative soulmate aspect (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoqEik8VIog). And everyone is hyping it like crazy. I have it with you know who (if you remember, of course) in a 0 degree orb. But then again, isn’t it generational? Hmmm. They did? I must have missed it. Thank you, Violets!I have never heard that band before. The song really feels like that, floaty, spiritual & complicated. Did you have any Neptune contact too, for the floaty spiritual feeling? Or did the Pluto/Venus contribute, perhaps? I have Pluto opposite Venus with someone. Seems for us that it created this ... impulsion. Like, a sexual tension that needed to be acted upon & I'm not even sure we we're each other's types. But I guess there's no way of escaping the erotic tension of Pluto/Venus Or maybe it's the asteroids? I haven't looked into asteroid astrology that much myself. IP: Logged |

@VioletsI love it  I was also thinking of how hard it is to pick out one aspect, when a song reminds me of a relationship. I like seeing a set of aspects with a song, it makes me feel like I can almost, vaguely imagine it. @thingsgoneby Thanks for the video, watching now. IP: Logged |

Yes, his Neptune is square my Sun/Moon. All of our Pluto/Neptune aspects are generational for us individually (I have Pluto opposite Venus in natal, he has Pluto trine Sun in natal, etc), but as my Sun/BML are in 8th conjnct his asteroid Karma, and his NN is also in 8th (which I just noticed is conjunct my asteroid Liebe that Ceridwen was recently talking about...the German word for "love"), and we both have Sun conjunct BML, it was particularly psychic and dreamy...very magical. It was quite dreamy, but absolutely not a realistic situation for either of us, which was sad and did add a lot of melancholy to two already somewhat melancholy people. IP: Logged |

Lovely song @Faith,Definitely sounds very Venus/Pluto, even though the generational Pluto aspects seem a bit tricky to figure out. But people still speak highly of Pluto contacts in synastry, so it must somehow create strong, serious and intense energies between people. IP: Logged |
