I have a vague idea how vesta is for an individual and also because I have it conjunct my Sun. But about in synastry conjunct someone else's SunIP: Logged |

I haven't had this, however, thinking about it, the Vesta person may be very interested in, and give a lot of support to the Sun person's personal development and self-concept in a spiritual sense. Vesta appears to be what we find sacred, to have another's Vesta on your Sun should theoretically be positive in isolation. I think the danger would be Vesta deifying the Sun person and the Sun person's ego inflating, leading to imbalances. A disharmonious aspect from either's Jupiter could lead to this.I once read that Vesta can also indicate fidelity, however, I don't have any hard evidence for this. IP: Logged |

My Vesta is conjunct the sun of one of my longest-standing friends. I got married on her birthday Maybe partly because I'm very partial to her and considered it a good-luck day. (I didn't know real astrology back then and the Vesta-marriage significance is purely coincidental.) IP: Logged |

I'm the Vesta person and I am genuinely concerned about their spiritual development and their growth as a person overall. We also have a nodal reversal too so there's a lot but I think I get itIP: Logged |

Awww...I love this. I have an ex I had my Vesta conj his Sun/Mars. I just met someone new w/ same b-day. My Vesta conj his Sun, His Vesta conj my ASC/Sun/Pluto. So, We have Sun/Moon/Vesta all conj in Composite. Sounds like that could be nice. IP: Logged |

As I slowly dive into this synastry with my gf I continue to notice interesting connections between inner planets and chiron, north node, Juno and Vertex for the two of us. After this topic I checked out Vesta. Since her Vesta 21'33 in Aries is almost exactly conjunct my Moon in Aries 21"58 I would imagine she is very supportive of my emotional development and how I express myself. Indeed, she has encouraged me to express my emotions in a sweet, caring way, several times already. Her Vesta is also trine my Venus Sag 21"11 so I imagine she is very supportive of my attempts to show and be romantic and, indeed, she is always very vocally happy/proud even when I do the smallest romantic gestures. Although they seem like minor aspects, they seem to be quite nice and add a little more than a tweak, at the least. However, her Vesta also squares my Mars by about 2 degrees so would this mean her support is at odds with how I express myself when mad? Our arguments have been very minimal so far. It also squares my rising by about a degree. So would this mean she might not be supportive about how I represent myself to the outside world? I mean, she always tells me I am handsome so I am not sure this aspect is felt as much. My Vesta Virgo 28 degrees makes wider aspects with her 24 degree moon and sun (both trines), as well as a 2 degree sextile to her rising Vesta, also trines her saturn by 3 degrees. So I think this would lead to me being very supportive of who she is, as general as a person since sun, moon, rising and saturn are a huge part of who you are. Thoughts? IP: Logged |

I can concur that vesta conjunct sun in synastry leads to the vesta person deifying the sun. I was vesta and thought this guy who had his sun conjunct my vesta could do no wrong. I put him on a pedestal IP: Logged |
