Hello there! This used to be on Glo Tarot, but it seems that site is under construction. It's fun to observe the astro assocations of Tarot play out in compatibility. Everyone has a Tarot birth card (two, actually). There's websites that will match up your birth cards the way we do Sun signs & moon signs, as beginners. For instance, you can head over to this site and enter your & your special someone's birthday to get a little Tarot compatibility report. I'll start things off with mine : Birth Cards: The Empress & The World. The Empress - attributed to Venus, which is the ruler of my Sun. The World - denotes Saturn - co-ruler of my moon, and aspect-maker to a lot of personal planets. Numerologically, both correspond to my life path number as well.
My Ex: The Emperor & Death: The Emperor - traditionally tied to Aries. He had a tight Sun/Mars conjunction and a fire moon. Death - Ha! But of course, Scorpio (his Sun). From the above site --- quote: The Empress and The Emperor You can seem a lot like a married couple even when you are first dating. There is a sense of familiarity and ease that comes with your uncanny ability to complement each other. The Empress offers the relationship the emotional and creative balance while the Emperor has all of kinds of practical thinking to offer. Often the Emperor provides the Empress with solid advice and even financial support to achieve artistic dreams. The Empress lightens up the serious and sometimes plodding Emperor, teaching the value of laughter and fun, not to mention gourmet food and fine wine. Where this duo runs into conflict is usually when the Empresses´ spontaneity clashes with the Emperor´s methodical planning. On a trip together the two can be a disaster as the Empress is willing to play itinerary-free while the Emperor has every hour plotted on a graph. Compromise is a necessary ingredient when these two characters team up, but in the end they complement each other far more than they detract.
Not all of it, but some of it does ring true about the way things were. How about you guys? Do you identify with these? P.S. Please don't get too put out if you come across any "bad" descriptions - this is #JustForFun. And in any case, it's not the whole story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [If you'd like to examine your own birth cards a little more, you can find out what they are here.] IP: Logged |

Mine: lovers his: Empress "The Lovers and The Empress The big attraction here is a natural chemistry based on the potent feeling nature of both the Empress and the Lovers soul. You are deep feelers who also have a natural artistic instinct. In love, this can become a romance of the century in which you lavish each other with expressions of love and creatively stoke the fires of passion. This high romance won´t last forever but even when it dwindles it can become a beautiful heart union. The pair works best when the Empress has career priority and the Lovers soul takes a more supportive role. When reversed, the Empress can feel under pressure to fulfill personal goals and career ambitions at the expense of the relationship. In truth, both partners can have fulfilling careers; it simply requires that neither partner take advantage of the kindness and self-sacrificing nature of the other. With both willing to give so freely, this can be a powerful union that endures all kinds of challenges and tests."
EDIT BTW my brother and his girlfriend have the same combo. He is the Empress, she is lovers.

Mine: The Heirophant Fiance:The Heirophant " The Heirophant and Heirophant As agents of change, Hierophants in tandem can become a whirlwind force of adventure. You both love to travel, explore and discover new frontiers both geographically and philosophically. Because you understand innately each others need for independence you rarely make demands that threaten this freedom. This is a big bonus for a Hierophant who has a hard time finding a mate who tolerates the carefree and foot-loose lifestyle that comes so naturally to every Hierophant. While this duo knows how to give each other space, there is a risk that unless your exploratory paths run along the same groove, you will diverge to the point of having little intimate contact. Like the monkey, Curious George, Hierophants are driven to investigate new people, places and things and rarely settle down into any specific interest. Unfortunately this applies to love interests as well. For this union to go the distance both partners need to be aware of their deep-seated fear of missing out on the next best love partner. Commitment can happen but it does require a super-conscious understanding of your own predilections and a trust that in exploring each other you can always discover something new"

Are you serious? your husband is lovers? Well I knew you were empress. so another couple of those. lol my parents are:
"The Hierophant and Strength This is a fast and furious alliance with Hierophants zany ideas providing a bellows for the fiery drive and ambition of Strength. These two can move mountains together and achieve big goals, but the challenge lies in the potential to burn out. Pacing is everything with these two fast talkers and big dreamers. Strength has a bit more common sense and practicality than free-wheeling Hierophant that helps make things happen. Romantically the sensuality of Hierophant appeals to the pleasure loving Strength soul together you two know how to enjoy fine wine, food, massage and all of life´s delights. Strength keeps Hierophant on a less debaucherous track with a bent toward moderation and health. Both are gifted with laser-like intuition which they can harness together to predict everything from stock trends to fashion directions. A lasting love often results from this union even if the form changes. Both are open to non-conventional arrangements such as open relationship and in many ways this open-mindedness makes for an enduring love." Well rings quite true except certainly no open relationship thing. Well my Dad has Moon in Taurus in 8th house, and my Mom is Scorpio.
I also looked up a very old crush of mine, long long ago
"The Lovers and The Priestess This charmed union looks on the outside as sweet as it is on the inside. The Priestess knows how to keep love and romance alive and the Lovers soul knows how to keep the home and hearth as a sanctuary and love nest. Both are naturally intuitive and communicate in subtle and wordless ways with each other. Mutual appreciation for art and beauty further cement this loving and vibrant union that often attracts public attention. This is the couple that everyone talks about as ´meant to be´ or ´soul mates.´ For the most part the relationship is graced by a deep affinity that leads to longevity. However, friction can occur when the flirtatious Priestess goes too far and makes the loyal Lovers soul feel unloved. Or when the Lovers soul insists on staying home even if the party is at the White House. Yet, despite occasional conflict, the psychic link between these two is so strong that this deep understanding often cements the union in face of any challenge, even infidelity."
Another I looked up "The Lovers and The Lovers When these two mystical and artistic souls unite one thing is guaranteed : Their home will be a well designed sanctuary filled with love and beauty. In fact often this duo finds fulfillment in the arts, working together to either create or promote works of art. With equally strong instincts for nesting, having a family will be a priority for this couple. Both are inclined to take care of others in some way and that includes each other. Birthdays will not be forgotten and special romantic gestures abound in this cozy and tender relationship. When this couple focuses on each other, the whole world seems to disappear. When they focus together on a project or goal, they can run into some challenges—both are so dreamy and sometimes even lazy, that motivation can be sorely lacking. The ultimately homebodies, the danger of this union is the two will retreat to the love nest and never leave it.

Maybe it works better when the guy is the Empress. What they said about career is true in my case. Feeling like I have to choose between personal goals and the relationship. IP: Logged |

I am pretty fine playing a supporting role, not all that ambitious. My brother`s girlfriend (they are both not really ambitious. lol) is very fulfilled with her mother-role. She is more assertive than him actually, but does not really strive for a career either. my best friend, also lovers, while industrious and alays striving to do her best, really never wanted to have a career either, she leaves that to her husband. who is not Empress btw. I think he is Magician? At least the description was not all that flattering, but I guess fitting.

Got this with my SO! We both have the same birth cards (the Moon and the Hermit)The Hermit and The Hermit This ultra idealistic duo pairs up with the heroic agendas of Superman meets Superwoman. Not only to both aspire to save the world, but both have the temperaments to pursue lofty humanitarian ideals without losing faith or patience. Often much of the relationship is about joining forces in an endeavor that inspires others and makes use of the knowledge and wisdom these two naturally have. Passion and romance take a back seat to discussions and debates, but in end you two have a heartfelt understanding of each other that weathers almost any relationship storm. Your love can reach transcendent heights if you both choose to salute the spirit in each other, which you often do. Rather than take things personally, you both know how to see the innocence beneath it all. The only downside here is that you amplify each others dreamy and utopian side to a point that a reality-check can be sorely lacking. IP: Logged | |
