You have Capricorn rising, so Saturn is your chart ruler. Your Saturn sits in the 7th house of partnerships, indicating possible delays with those partnerships, or hardship getting established. It can also point to very durable and lasting union, once you find your match. It's also possible that feelings for someone you knew in the past have lingered; maybe you compare others to a past lover and see how they don't compare. (Guessing!)

Your Cancer Saturn is disposited by moon in Gemini, which is conjunct Mars. You spoke of your intensity, and moon-Mars can be a factor there. Your moon and Mars square your sun, and there are just totally contradictory energies here: talkative and outgoing 5H Gemini moon versus steady and introverted second decan Pisces sun (the second decan, or Cancer decan of Pisces, is said to be the most private or emotionally reclusive type of Pisces.) I'm familiar with this tricky dynamic as I have a similar aspect: 11H Gemini Mars square 8H Pisces moon. I'm like a talkative hermit.

Your Venus is in Aquarius, but sits in the second house, the house of Taurus. Because your south node is Taurus, there could be a feeling here that love relationships tend to get you too much of a stuck feeling. You may get bored easily. My guess is, you would like excitement but also depth and commitment, a trio not often found all together.

Your sun in the steady second house is stabilized and strong, but also possibly "too independent"? Cap ASC, 10th house NN, I can imagine you have a steady career, and your life in order, but it might give the impression that you are self-sufficient and don't need anyone? Does that fit?

Yes exactly!

I really love this synastry because his sun is trine yours and his moon is sextile yours.
I never underestimate sun trine sun. Also his moon is exalted in steady Taurus, and sextile your sun. This just seems relaxing and cozy.

It appears that your moon is on his sun-moon midpoint? If so, that would strengthen your connection.

And your sun right on his DSC is perfect.

His Mars opposing your sun gives sexual attraction, and it converts your sun-moon square to a t-square (pattern completion, often considered a good thing, though some astrologers are not on board with that theory.) There could also possibly be some annoyance if he gets overly involved in the small details of your life or attempts to control things you just don't care about or want controlled. You two have a very wide Mars square Mars that basically doesn't really count for an aspect. It shouldn't be a major issue, but something to work out: your different approaches to problems.

I also like his Saturn opposing your Venus for longevity. Maybe that would feel like too much Saturn to other people but because you have 7H Saturn natally, I'm guessing you are okay with Saturn connections.

His Uranus conjunct your NN could feel exciting since you have Aqua Venus, but I have no idea how astrologers consider this aspect. It seems that Uranus destabilizes relationships, but it can also at the same time make them energizing, enlightening and "worth it."

Your Saturn conjunct his Mercury, exact...possibly he understands your serious approach to life and helps you verbalize your concerns. Possibly he feels that he cannot fully express himself to you, as you may see his words in a more negative light than what he intended. Because you are older, and a Pisces, I think this may not be much of a problem. Your objective Aqua Mercury will keep you sifting through your emotional responses, looking for the most practical thing to say...but Mercury is on the Pisces cusp, also picking up on emotional cues, and not being dismissive of his feelings.

Overall I think it looks good!

Sun conjunct Venus, conjunct his moon and your SN! ... And that sun is the apex of a yod with Pluto and Neptune. Moon-Jupiter in the 7H. All SO lovely.

The sun-Saturn-Uranus t-square could be a problem? Some people are gloomy about sun square Saturn composites, but I don't know. I'm going to research it.

I'll be back later to look at this more.

Also, the sun opposed saturn....while I'm not too afraid of it, since I'm a capricorn ascendant with saturn in 7th house, I'm more concerned about him taking this too strongly. He is, afterall, a Cancer with like 1000 planets in Cancer- LOL.
