Madelineleo, I see why you would say that. You have Mars conjunct the descendant, so you are what vedic astrology calls a Manglik (from Mangala, which means Mars). Mars on the descendant can do so-called malefic things to that house of partnership and marriage. You have Venus in fall in Virgo, and it's opposite your Saturn, which does not help the situation. You have the ruler of the 7th in the 7th house, which is a traditional position for a partner who is more concerned with himself than you, even though you tend to compromise a lot. I feel ya. Will it get better? You have to believe that it will get better. The North Node is working its way into your 8th house, then in a couple of years in your 7th house of partnership or marriage. It will be an opportunity to meet someone who might be a committed partner. but no guarantee. Keep in mind that your chart is a reflection of your psyche, so know thyself and work on yourself. With Mars on the descendant, you ARE attracted to or you draw to yourself quarrelsome personalities. Try to change your romantic tastebuds so to speak. Easier said than done, I know... With Saturn now on your ascendant starting a new cycle in your life, you are feeling discouraged and old. Saturn in Sagg hardly imparts wisdom because it's the house of its enemy, Jupiter. But things happen for a reason. It's a time for you to lose weight if you were carrying extra poundage, present yourself in a mature or professional way when doing business, cut back on the travelling etc... Sagg rising is the eternal optimist, so with Jupiter as your ruling planet, you need to stay optimistic. Find the gold or the silver lining in your chart. Thank you Belage for your detailed insight. It really means a lot. I am trying to stay positive but it's becoming more and more difficult. Because I have these placements in my chart does it mean that my love life is doomed?

^^^ I am glad it helped. And no! I don't think your love life is doomed. In fact, I would say the opposite. The ruler of your 7th house, Mercury, is enjoying a nice trine from your Saturn in Pisces, and a sextile from your Venus in Virgo. I guess some astrologers would say it is forming a YOD. The way to resolve the conflict is to make sure to communicate, as mercury represents communication. With Saturn trining, it will help you to keep your cancerian Mercury grounded and not lost in emotional arguments or drama. With sextile to Venus in Virgo, you can utilize Virgo's love nature which is about service to work with your emotional mercury in cancer to make things work for you. So if your communication skills in relationships are not good, start working on them. and by communication skills, I don't just mean the ability to express yourself in a way that is not confrontational, but the ability to really listen to the other person. Cancerian mercury works on feelings and not on logic, but Saturn trine helps with keeping level headed. IP: Logged |
