Aspects vs placements - how would you consider them in synastry? Curious about this - specifically same planets eg sun/sun, moon/moon etc - when the same planet is in the same sign, surely that would provide a certain resonance and similarity of approach/attitude even if they're not in tight aspect. Do you agree with this? If so, how much significance would you put on it? Eg it's not going to be as strong as a conjunction/opposition, but would it carry a similar weight to, say an out-of-sign conjunction, a wide square or a quincunx etc, for example? Or, in summary - if you see an unaspected same sign placement, what does it mean to you? Thanks in advance

Yes, it can be somewhat helpful, but aspects, particularly where two planet positions come together by conjunction or parallel, are what create potential for bonds in which there is 'at one' understanding.------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions Energy Healing by request IP: Logged |

Thanks for the insight Kannon...In my chart my moon is 21 degrees away from my friend's (same sign). But it's parallel (within 30 minutes) - would this have a similar strength to a conjunction? (I'm still learning about parallels and contra-parallels!) IP: Logged | |
