Hey Ruby I've always understood Saturn transits as being like a personal trainer - someone who beasts you til you throw up, and then you see amazing results.
If you go into a transit in decent shape, it's going to be less traumatic. I recently had Saturn opposite Venus (and square Saturn, for lols). I finally ended a destructive relationship.
It wasn't easy, and involved some very difficult decisions, but it was what I needed to do, so things kind of fell in my lap. Did I enjoy the transit? Not really, but it was a hugely important catalyst and I'm so much happier now.
It could be that you have a peaceful chart right now, that's not being triggered. Or it could be that you've already got your stuff in hand, so Saturn has less to do.
That's my take, at least.
