Seen many times how professional astrologers are accurate to their prediction about your partner's personality and appearance. When it comes to personality we have to look at 7th house, planets there, its ruler, aspects ruler is making, what planet rules house ruler (depends on sign), also Sun and Mars as they represents both in female chart male. And from all of these to make an picture how character our husband or man we will live with will, will be. But I wonder, how you see how he will look like, what placements to look at? Anyone here can tell me? IP: Logged |

This kind of delves into Vedic Astrology, but Jupiter represents a woman's husband in her chart. Mars is what she is attracted to, and Sun will also represent him.In terms of physical appearance, that all depends on the Ascendant, I suppose, which could be in any sign. IP: Logged |

Vedic astrology is really good for accuracy on the spouse , Jupiter is husband for woman. My jupiter in vedic is Cancer but in western Leo. The 7th house in Vedic shows Leo, so the spouse that I will end up with will have leo dominate traits. 9 out of 10 guys I date, their gonna be a leo. IP: Logged |

I don't think it's enough to look only on Jupiter sign and houses Jupiter finds itself. I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to Vedic astrology but doubt it's enough to tell you something. In Vedic astrology, my Jupiter is in Virgo and in 6th house. My last two fav signs are Virgo and Libra, don't like rising or any personal planet in those signs, don't like their energy and not good with them. Mars is in Gemini, yes I'm attracted to these guys but doubt it's only cause of my Vedic Mars. But in Western astrology, my 7th is in Taurus, ruler Venus in Aquarius in 4th in sextile to Mercury, square to Pluto and conjunction to Saturn. As Uranus rules Venus, Uranus is in 3rd in Capricorn conjunct Sun, opposite Mars, sextile Moon, square Jupiter. Mars in Cancer in 9th, Sun in Capricorn... And I like man to show his emotions, but also to be friendly, relaxed, passionate, intelligent, it's very important to me to have someone with who I can talk, also serious when it comes to relationship, young in spirit and so on.. And it totally fits with my placements, so this is pretty accurate. Three signs I'm the best with or people with a lot of their energy are Aquarius, Scorpios and Geminis. When it comes to appearance, you pretty well can see how he will look like, but I'm not knowledgeable in that area. That's why I asked.. I think you have to study very good body parts each sign rules and to connect it to all these placements, especially ruler of 7th, sign, house and aspects, and to see what signs play role here, so to make some picture.. Is your Jupiter conjunct anything or sitting alone? Also what nakstasra is the sign in? My Jupiter is in Ashlesha and in the 11th house. When I met my ex husband I met him threw a friend and his Saturn was in Ashlesha. IP: Logged |

If you are looking at the sign of Jupiter in Vedic astrology for the future husband, then the Sun signs of your potential mates must be in Vedic too. You cant say my Vedic Jupiter is in Leo, and the guys i attract are Leos ( tropical system).... it must be all in Vedic, not a mixture of the two systemsIP: Logged |

In Vedic Astrology (Which I agree is much better when it comes to practical predictions such as this) Jupiter signifies the husband in a female's chart; Venus signifies the wife in a man's chart. It's not as simple as just looking at the sign jupiter or venus is in. There are yogas (planetary combinations) and other factors that show what the spouse is. Example- If you are a female with Jupiter Exalted in Cancer... but the lord of the house (moon) is debilitated, then that Exalted Jupiter is weakened by a large percentage. If you don't know anything about Vedic Astrology and want a simple and VERY SUPERFICIAL start on looking up your spouse you can look up on youtube what it means when the lord of your 7th is in a particular house. Here's one video for those who's 7th lord is in the 11th. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RcStc32crE IP: Logged |

I'm not good with Vedic astrology, but they say they read and interpret it totally different from Western astrologers. In Western chart, my ruler of 7th is Venus in Aquarius in my 4th house. No way I will meet someone through my relatives, cause I've always hated keeping contact with them, I don't even like family weekend lunches and stuff like that, don't go with them anywhere. But maybe to meet someone who lives near me. It still didn't happen. Now, in Vedic chart, my 7th house is in Aries and Mars in Gemini in 9th. I read on internet and it says there is possibility to meet your partner in foreign country, so basically interpretation is very similar. I know for this guy on youtube and he is saying exactly the same thing. But maybe it can have more sense, since I really love to travel a lot and next year going to work in foreign country. In both charts, 7th house is empty. IP: Logged |

I think it's accurate. William Lilly's horary book has accurate descriptions of what planets in signs may look like in a person (Saturn in Sagittarius gives a tall and potentially heavy person, Venus in Aries gives a medium-height body with thick and curly hair etc). I can say it's accurate. For example, in his book he says Venus in Aries gives a person of medium height and thin body with a mark or scar on his face and I am that way physically and do have marks (acne scars) on my face. He says Mercury in Aries gives a thin medium-height person with lighter brown hair that is curly, which I have. He also says a Moon in Capricorn gives a small and weak thin body with ill health, dark hair, small features and bad skin (like acne scars) and unfortunately I do have those issues like ill health and bad skin at times, I'm also petite.IP: Logged |

No the Vedic system doesn't work with Sun Signs like that. That's how western does it. In Vedic it's the moon sign the reigns. So you wouldn't be a Sagittarius in the Vedic system. You would either be whatever your moon sign is or Whatever your ascendant is. Moon and Ascendant are what determine your outward personality traits and these two reign in Vedic. Not the Sun. If you tell someone who does jyotish that you are a Sagittarius they will assume you're talking about your moon. IP: Logged |

Quite fascinating! And if true it does make a bit more sense! And their way of interpreting mars and venus - does it differ substantially from western? IP: Logged |

But that wouldn't make sense for me. In Vedic astrology my Moon is in Capricorn. I cannot be a Capricorn??? I don't feel like one... it's so different from my Western Chart... ------------------ I appreciate the masterpiece that is you, because your existence alone is art IP: Logged |

No one is just their Sun sign. In that case, what are you doing here..
